Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

ICE train station and outlet in Montabaur can be reached in 15 minutes. Cologne and Frankfurt airports can be reached in 45 minutes. Various tourist attractions are available nearby. Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.

The apartment has been comprehensively renovated in 2020. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, a cozy living room and a modern bathroom. It is quietly located on the edge of the forest and has its own entrance which offers plenty of privacy. Nature lovers appreciate the proximity to the Westerwaldsteig, a popular hiking trail. It offers relaxing days and diverse leisure opportunities in nature.

In the rough Oberwesterwald directly at the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach has dug its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. The apartment is located near the Holzbach Gorge. Where the Westerwaldsteig invites you to hike and vacation, relax and enjoy nature. But also Limburg an der Lahn and Montabaur are just over 20 km away. Bad Marienberg with a climbing forest, animal park and swimming pool are not far from our apartment. Simply discover the Westerwald region, which is diverse and beautiful.

Relax in this special, quiet accommodation, surrounded by meadows, forest and a quietly rushing stream. Move your office to these beautifully located rooms for a few days. The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.
