There is a shopping facility in the village at the "Regiomat" where you can buy milk, eggs, meat and drinks 24 hours a day, as well as on Saturday at the bakery in the village. The nearest small shop is 2 km away.

The local recreation area of Niederwangen invites you to hike, run and cycle in summer. In winter, it serves as the perfect starting point for winter sports fans due to its proximity to the Allgäu Alps and the cross-country trails right in the village. Wangen im Allgäu is 5 km away, and Lake Constance or the Alps can be reached in 30–45 minutes. An entrance area provides space for e-bikes and prams.
