In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

If you're lucky, you can sit inside and watch the northern lights. Short distance to towns such as Kabelvåg and Svolvær. Short driving distance to Henningsvær and Gimsøy. Great area for hiking for both young and old. Great beach at Kalle and Rørvik. Hiking area within walking distance. Silsand (beach) and lean-to. The lean-to is located between Ørsnes and Hopen. My container house is located in Ramberg /Flakstad, only 30 minutes from Leknes airport, the house sits on a large property on the tip of a peninsula with panoramic views of the open ocean. Its a mini house build of a container . The house is new and built to the highest standard with heated floors throughout. You can see the northern lights from the bed. Kitchen and a nice bathroom. Hot tub, you need to bring with you wood. Working only in the summer. Sauna with a big window ( electric)
