Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Henley Beach

What a lovely host! Winston went above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable. We stayed 33 nights at the Sand and Serenity. The unit is a block from the Henley Beach access. Such a beautiful beach! A small grocery store is a 10 minute walk and we found almost all of our grocery needs at Drakes. The drive to Central Market in the city is a 25 minute drive and I know that sounds daunting but it’s a STRAIGHT line door to door. Easy peasy! The bed is comfortable with a nice thick mattress pad. We slept well. Many previous guests have mentioned the bathrooms are divine. It was nice to have a set of sharp knives in the unit. Such a luxury these days! The refrigerator is a perfect size for home cooks and the washer and dryer worked beautifully. Overall, a wonderful experience and we highly recommend booking the Sand and Serenity. Winston’s hospitality is exceptional. Please note: The stove top has only two burners so home cooks will need to get creative when planning meals.

What a beautiful house! We had five adults and a dog in our group and there were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge areas. The area is beautiful and very private. There are so many beautiful personal touches throughout the house that made the stay feel extra special. We loved this house - probably my fave air bnb ever - and will definately look to stay again.

Amazing location and cosy home with everything you need. Supermarket within easy walking distance. Our hosts were responsive and helpful!

We had an awesome time with our family and dogs at Julie’s place over the long weekend! This home was beautifully decorated, furnished, and was a short 10min walk from the beach front. We highly recommend this place if you want a nice getaway by the beach! Thank you, Julie we will come back. ☺️

We had a great weekend at Jane's lovely cottage. Checkin was a breeze as we just walked in and the key was waiting for us on the kitchen bench. The interior was well designed and spacious with everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The cottage was just a short drive to Stirling and Hahndorf where we strolled through shops and tried their excellent restaurants under the autumn foliage. All in all, we felt like we have just spent a weekend in a friend's house.

LOVED this home! We felt right at home - absolutely beautiful, perfect combination of modern extension and amenities with classic stone cottage all in a private setting but super close to main road. And when we were running late on leaving, Kath was super understanding. We would 💯 stay here again and felt sad leaving. Thank you Kath!

Very nice accommodation with plenty of room for everyone. We stayed in a group of six people and everyone enjoyed their time at Gorgeous Grange. The large heater in the living area was superb, kept us nice and warm. Comfortable beds with all linen and towels supplied, lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating. Close to the beach and the Grange Hotel and also a lovely Cafe on the beach. Thank you Charlie for letting us stay in your Airbnb. Cathy

Lauren was a very friendly and responsive host from the beginning and through out our stay. The unit was beautiful, clean, modern, well equipped and couldn't have been in a better location (close to everything). We have had an exceptional stay and will certainly stay again. Jeremy's beautiful home was welcoming and cosy and we looked forward to getting back there after spending the day exploring Glenelg. We loved how everything was within walking distance which made traveling with children easy with a nearby playground, beach house, Mosely square and jetty road all within walking distance from the apartment. Jeremy's little thoughtful touches to the apartment for our stay were very much appreciated such as the bottle of Shiraz and chocolate on arrival and the beautiful complimentary body wash/shampoo which was all locally sourced. I had such a wonderful time with my little family and can't wait to visit again! (Maybe when the weather is warmer 😂) Thankyou Jeremy!

Deb’s place was absolutely amazing! Every thoughtful detail was taken care of, and we truly wanted for nothing during our stay. It’s no surprise that her property ranks in the top 1% of Airbnb listings, it certainly deserves the accolade. From the seamless check-in process to the warm welcome of freshly baked bread, a bottle of wine, and delicious chocolates on arrival, everything was perfect. The space itself was beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable, with every amenity you could hope for thoughtfully provided. Deb’s attention to detail and genuine care for her guests really shines through. We felt completely at home and incredibly well looked after. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this exceptional property to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay.

Natalie's place was really gorgeous and exactly as described. My best friend and I had a lovely time there and would return again! We were also provided breakfast and some snacks which was really thoughtful and a nice touch!

This was the second time that we have stayed at M & Ms. They are wonderful hosts, the location is excellent for walking around or catching buses and being an apartment, there is a lot of space to spread out. We highly recommend the apartment and the excellent hosts.

Apartment was perfectly located in leafy Hindmarsh Square—quiet, safe, and just steps from Rundle Mall. Great pub and restaurant right downstairs. Super convenient and ideal for a city stay. The location felt incredibly safe, even at night, and it was always easy to pop out for a bite to eat or just enjoy a walk through the square. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great base for exploring Adelaide. I’d definitely stay here again, highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, or anyone wanting to experience the best of the city while enjoying a peaceful, green setting!

We had a fantastic stay at this North Adelaide apartment. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location on Melbourne Street couldn’t have been better, with fantastic restaurants and cafes right on our doorstep, making it so easy to enjoy the area. Linda was an outstanding host. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Check-in instructions were incredibly clear and easy to follow, and any questions we had were answered quickly and helpfully. It really made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, and other essentials was very much appreciated, and the chocolates were such a thoughtful touch. Having access to the secure, gated car park was also invaluable, giving us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Adelaide.

Giovanna is a wonderful host who has opened up her home for others. It is located in a quiet part of North Adelaide yet only a few minutes walk from the restaurants, cafes and pubs of O’Connell St. the apartment is a spacious, very well appointed and super comfortable and warm. Giovanna was on the other side of the world, yet was always very quick to respond to any queries. It was a lovely stay and I look forward to returning.

Danielle’s place exceeded all expectations—it was even better than the photos! We initially booked for 3 nights but loved it so much, we extended our stay by 2 more. The unit is literally beachfront; you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It’s in a perfect, walkable location with easy access to everything. We took the tram from Jetty Road in Glenelg to the Adelaide CBD almost daily and joined wine tours that picked us up right in Glenelg. Danielle thoughtfully provided milk and coffee, and the espresso machine was a great touch. She was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had!
