Originally built in the 1800's, the Wallace house was completely renovated in 2019 to preserve historical integrity while offering modern amenities and conveniences. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming and waterfalls are all available in the adjacent Dupont State Forest. The cabin is 15 minutes from Pisgah National Forest and 20 minutes from Hendersonville and Brevard. AS OF 2025 there is high speed Wifi (Starlink), and as a result great cell service. AND THERE IS NO LONGER A CARETAKER ON THE PROPERTY so guests have the whole property to themselves.
