Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hemsdal Municipality

Spacious home with great living spaces. Nice master bathroom. The small bedroom was a bit cramped for 2 adults, but we were informed of this in advance. Lovely and well-equipped kitchen.

Absolutely everything was just great. Lillian responded quickly when we needed help. The cabin was so incredibly nice and decorated with everything you need. Much nicer than what the pictures show. Nature surrounds the cabin and no sounds other than nature's own….Magical!!

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Our stay at Elisif's was great in one word. Beautiful accommodation, really full of comforts with a fantastic view. Elisif is hospitable and we had a nice contact. Absolutely worth coming back for us!

Perfect place for those of us who had a small family gathering. A peaceful place a few stone's throw away from Ulsåk with shops etc. Really nice atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Large sunny terrace. Very nice and responsive host. Everything was easy. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in this house. It is decorated with typical Norwegian objects and is very well arranged. The spaces are very well distributed for the beds of a large family. The living rooms are very nice for games or meals in a warm atmosphere with the added bonus of a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is very well equipped and allows you to make many recipes. The view is beautiful and the deer and squirrels willingly invite themselves into the apple orchard. We booked a kayak tour in the fjord 5 minutes from the house. It was fantastic. We therefore recommend this house for anyone who wishes to combine calm and nature.

Wonderful place to stay. Nice and cosy farmhouse from 19th century, I guess, but renovated with a lot of love. Modern clean and warm bath. There´s even with a old painted door. Everything is beautifully arranged. Parking right in front of the door. Toril lives next door and is a very helpful host. Beautifully located between the lake and the montains, very scenic view. I was there in Winter with two colleagues for ski-touring, but I will return with the family.

Beautiful and very spacious cabin, in a perfect location close to Hemsedal ski centre. Lovely and cosy place to relax in after a day of skiing. Responsive and helpful host.

I truly loved Signe's home. It's well refurbished, modern style inside a very cozy winter frame. A true romantic gateway in Europe.

We enjoyed staying at Cato's place. His apartment is comfortable, in a great location, and has beautiful views of the mountains.

We felt very comfortable in this apartment. It is well equipped and the view over the ski slopes into the valley is unique. The location right on the ski slope is hard to beat and the garage is perfect for storing the skis.

Thank you for a nice Easter in Hemsedal! The apartment is located right next to the ski resort and at Skarsnuten hotel with spa and restaurant. Clean and tidy when we arrived. The host is friendly and pleasant, and easy to communicate with. Happy to come again! 🎿☀️❄️

The apartment is great and in excellent condition (new). We were 6 adults and had plenty of room. Convenient with heated garage under the apartment with room for 2 cars. The location is very good in relation to the slalom slope and it is a short walk to/from the hill. Overall very happy with apartment and hosting.

A very beautiful and spacious cabin where we felt very comfortable. The surrounding area not only offers beautiful hiking tours, but also the possibility to explore nature by bike.

Merete was a super nice host and the cabin really cozy - looks just like in the pictures! We got clear instructions on how to drive and get there and Merete does a good job to make sure it is pleasant to come to the cabin as a guest. The area is very beautiful, with good views to various mountains in the area and you can go for various hikes - unfortunately the snow had blown away when we were there, but then we could drive to other ski slopes, for example Beitostølen, but it took about 45 minutes each way. Well worth a visit and we'd love to come again!

Great place to stay! Stunning views from the two bedroom windows! And from the patio! Super nice surroundings, about 5 min drive to the hill. Everything we needed was there. The host couple were very nice, very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. No problem to borrow the wall shed when we needed to grind skis. The beds were made with fluffy pillows and duvets when we arrived. A fireplace and wood were there so we could burn one day when the weather was rough. Great cozy. Would love to come back! Recommended!

We had a great time at the cabin. Incredibly cozy cabin with everything you need nearby. Clean and tidy, and everything was up to expectations.

Luxury cabin with plumps toilet :-) The cabin is super cozy, very stylish and furnished to a high standard. The location is idyllic with views of the countryside. Plus a wonderful hot tub with wood stove. The cabin is located on a - not paved - toll road (NOK 50). This can be reached after paying at a gate at the machine with a card. This toll road is surrounded by other toll roads - so don't be surprised if you have to cross a total of 2 barriers to get to the house. A small shopping area is 2 km away, but this is relatively expensive. Basic amenities such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc., should be brought along. Small tip: When you arrive at the address and a chain locks you off the way to the house, then just walk the piece and then you will find the key for the chain in the house. The cabin is amazing - with the coziest beds in the world. We enjoyed our days there incredibly and would come back any time.

Nice cabin that we now rented two years in a row. Lovely views over the valley - and close to Hemsdal ski center. Good with four wheel drive to reach the cabin if it recently snowed.

We have had a wonderful stay in this location. The cabin is located right in a mountainous area where easy, tougher or tough walks (some by car) will take you to breathtaking sceneries in vallies or climbing mountain peaks. The cabin is located at 950m of elevation so expect typical mountain weather that can vary somewhat between days and even during the day. The cabin itself is comfortable with three bedrooms with a outdoor space in a southerly sunny direction. Marianne as host has been very friendly, very knowledgable about the surroundings and full of ideas on what you can see and do, really best of the best hostesses. Our friends made a day trip to climb the well known Besseggen which is a 90min drive from the cabin. If you look for a place to do mountain hikes, biking, and related, then this is a very nice spot to do it from in beatiful Norway. Best recommendations!
