My place is very good for couples as well as solo adventurers and - if you don’t mind sharing one open space with everyone - even for small families (with kids).

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Sam lives upstairs and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

The Rigel Retreat is a relaxing getaway with amazing garden views which backs onto a nature reserve. The private open plan interior with an attached kitchenette. The space offers a patio with a braai area, hammock and pool which you are welcome to enjoy. Situated on a hill, the views of the Helderberg basin are incredible. The guest suite is located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood with a park only a short walk down the road. Somerset West has a wide variety of sites to explore.

Come and stay in our peaceful studio cottage high up on Helderberg Mountain surrounded by trees and hear the owls hooting as you fall asleep! Beautiful new cottage, with it's own deck and garden and stylishly furnished to meet your every need. And now with solar installed (April 2023) we have NO LOAD-SHEDDING! We've replaced the oven and hob with a fully gas stove so all appliances can be used during load shedding!
