Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Very nice bright 2 room apartment with separate kitchen and bathroom. They live on 50sqm in the attic directly on the Lahnwanderweg. You look over the city of Diez. You sleep on a 160x200cm bed. Parking in front of the house (or in the yard) at no cost. In a few minutes you can reach shopping center, baker, butcher etc. 10 minutes from the Diez inner and old town and the Lahn. It takes 10 - 15 minutes to get to Limburg. There is a cathedral and also a historic old town.

In our wooden barrel you will spend cozy hours with views of chickens, sheep, cattle and the castle! "Cozzy, cuddly, totally great, it smells good of wood, like in a boat cabin," is how our guests describe the extraordinary experience in the barrel. It is designed for a maximum of 4 people: In the back there are two level sleeping places (180 × 200 cm and 240 × 200 cm). Bathroom with shower in the annex. Bed linen and towels included. In der 100 qm großen Ferienwohnung soll man sich sofort zuhause fühlen und die unglaublichen Ausblicke auf den berühmten Malerwinkel, die Stadtmauer mit dem Liebesturm und die Burg Stahleck genießen.
