Clean, unusual, renovation apartment is in pastoral place . We visited some interesting places in radius 1-1,5 hour driving: Urc, Enkhuizen, Zuiderzeemuseum, Giethoorn ,Zwolle(Park English Work), Museum de Fundatie/Kasteel Het Nijenhuis, Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. What a great place, to stay at. I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area. Also the home is very pleasant to stay, very clean, lovely views from th living room, over the pond and the fields. Very quiet location for sleeping. The breakfast is very complete with fresly baked breads and croissants. And Cathie was so kind to let us pet her horses and goats. Thank you for a very nice stay, Cathie!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

We felt very comfortable at Ympkje. The apartment was as shown in the pictures and very nicely decorated. As a welcome greeting, there was even cake and fresh flowers. The location was very quiet, easy to find and only 10 minutes from the sea. Ympkje was very helpful and always easy to reach. The apartment has everything you need for a stay. The only drawback is that the bedroom is not separated from the rest of the apartment by a door. We were there with our little son, can highly recommend the accommodation and would travel there again at any time.

The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. Good stuff, everything clean and fresh. Beautiful light apartment. Host Jurgen is great! Super friendly, quickly accessible and flexible. Highly recommended.

We felt super comfortable in Hil's apartment. It is located in a quiet, beautiful side street, 10 minutes' walk from the city centre. The apartment is lovingly furnished, the kitchen super functional, the beds comfortable. The garden is the cherry on top! Communication with Hil went perfectly! She was accessible and straightforward at all times. Thank you!! Looking forward to the next stay :-D

We had a great time with six adults. The space was good for the six of us. Monique and Peter sent very clear instructions about the accommodation. Immediately after booking, we were informed that a number of sleeping places are accessible with a somewhat steeper staircase. Very thoughtful but was also already clear from the description and the photos. Beautiful view, beautiful, very large garden. Sauna was wonderful all in combination with the outdoor shower. Space to put the bikes down dry, very nice. Being able to charge your car is also a plus. And Peter and Monique were super nice. We even got a discount on the use of the sauna because they found it annoying that the weather wasn't so good. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from it all with a few people and enjoy the peace and space.

My family and I had a lovely 2 night stay at Janke's place. The house was as described and the village was beautiful. we visited Schiermonnikoog Island which is a little gem! Thank you Janke for the stress free stay.

We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic – you can look directly at the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with great attention to detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing in the furnishings. A small note for those with a pollen allergy: there is a lot of nature in the area, which is wonderful - but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

This place is ideal in every way: the warm welcome by the hostess, the lovely complete house, also very suitable for my mother of 87 years (ground floor, amenities), conveniently located with a lovely garden. Thanks for all the tips, Miranda. We have enjoyed it! See you again!

place was wonderful, clean space which was exactly as described. it's very kid friendly with lots of toys and card games. the place was very cosy and homely

We stayed in the chalet for 4 nights and had a wonderful rest. There is everything you need and we felt comfortable right away. The campsite is quiet and all the people there are very friendly. Our dog loved it too! We would come back anytime.

Upon our arrival, we met Aly by chance and she was immediately very friendly. The house looked neat and clean and the peace that prevailed is great when the weather is a little better, I think. For us, it was a couple of nights as we went to ride the Elfstedentocht by motorbike and did not see much of the immediate surroundings. But certainly a place to come back to even without motorcycles and then explore the area. Aly thank you so much for letting us stay with you and your family and hopefully see you next time. We were in this beautiful house for an extended weekend. Everything is as shown in the photos and as described. The house is top equipped, nothing is missing. The location is exceptional...very nice directly on the water with its own jetty. From there you can make many excursions, cycling, etc. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and with lots of helpful information. We say thank you for the wonderful stay and maybe until next time.

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

I had a wonderful stay! The host was polite, very responsive, and maintained great communication throughout. The location is excellent—close to everything I needed—and the apartment was spotless, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely book again and highly recommend both the host and the apartment.

Our stay at Christel's was perfect! The house is welcoming, clean, comfortable, spacious. The bed is really comfortable! After a good day of sightseeing, it is very pleasant to return to this quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature. You can easily reach the city centre by car in less than 10 minutes. Christel is an attentive host. We'll be happy to go back!

Jolanda's place was perfect for our 1 month stay. The patio was great for sunny breakfasts. Small town with everything you need. We made some great friends in town. Lively on weekends and quieter during the week. Centrally located to other fun towns. There is about a 10 min walk to the train station. Highly recommend this Airbnb and town.
