Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hedmark

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

A nice, well-equipped house with a great patio. A quiet residential area without traffic. A very good alternative to staying in a hotel.

A really peaceful and beautiful retreat. I visited here for a restful weekend and it did not disappoint. Really quiet and private, I really enjoyed the hot tub which had lovely views of trees and the sunset in the evening. The decor was beautiful, just like the photos. Easy to check in and out. You really will need a car as it is remote which is perfect for peace and quiet. Thank you.

This place is an experience, and worth driving a good detour to reach. You travel back in time, while having all the facilities you need. I personally always feel extra welcome when towels are provided as they were here - small details that mean a lot. Places are, as I said, a little off the beaten track, it is quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended to others.

Our stay at Olga’s place was absolutely incredible! The apartment was spotless, fresh-smelling, and truly cozy we instantly felt at home. It’s been a long time since we’ve enjoyed a trip this much. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the place has everything you might need. Olga was kind and flexible, Communication was smooth and easy throughout. We were passing through to the Northern parts of Norway, but glad we came to rest here. Close to history of the Olympics, ski area, gondolas were running, and close to groceries, restaurants and electric charging. The apartment was perfect for our needs and we were able to comfortably recharged for our continued journey.

Lovely two night stay, it was perfect size for me and the area is so nice. Perfect for a runner like me as there’s lots to explore nearby but also so easy to get into central Oslo. Would highly recommend

Marte's apartment was fantastic in every way. The best thing was undoubtedly the stunning view, but other pluses were the size and layout of the accommodation. Overall, we are super happy and can highly recommend the apartment. On the way there, we had the pleasure of getting to know the sheep and lambs along the way and on the way back, we saw a moose.

It went very well. The accommodation is nice and in a peaceful environment. Hege is very welcoming, we highly recommend.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

Knut and Mina's apartment was clean, cozy and tidy, and matched the pictures. It was perfect for two people. There were good instructions on how to find your way around, and the stay in general.

Alberto’s place was exactly as described. I loved the location - easy to walk if you want to most things, but you also have a bus stop in front of the building and a tram line on the next block. Check-in and departure were easy. The apartment was furnished exactly as described and very clean.

Really friendly communicator and the apartment was just as described- the balcony was a real asset to the property - nicely situated with gorgeous views and within easy reach of the city - easy to get and return keys and info in apartment was very useful

Morten and Patrick are excellent hosts! Our stay was wonderful - the space is so thoughtfully and seamlessly put together and has such spectacular views no matter what time of day. Not to mention, it was so cozy! We didn’t want to leave the comfy bed our last morning. Walking into Oslo’s city center took about 15 minutes so we never felt the need to get on public transit, but there were stops close by. Would definitely recommend a taxi/rideshare from the airport though if you have large luggage since it’s up quite a large hill.

Great location close to the harbor, train station, ferries, and tram. Very walkable to many attractions, and lovely property!

Nina’s place is centrally located and very easy to get to. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has a lovely balcony with views. Nina is a super friendly host and picked us up from the train station and gave us lots of tips around the city. I highly recommend Nina’s place for people visiting Oslo.

We had a one night stay on the road from the fjords down through Sweden and this was a really nice stay in between without having to go into Oslo again. The property is in a stunning location, provided you're in to peaceful spots and don't mind a short drive for groceries, meals, etc. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped enough for us to throw together a quick meal. In mid-summer the sun goes down at almost 11 pm which is a shock to us coming from further south. The shades are helpful but don't quite block the sun, so I'd suggest a mask if sunlight is sensitive for you. All told it was a great stay - exactly what we needed.

Fantastic apartment and fantastic view. Simple and fast communication, very flexible since I needed to extend the stay by one day. Clean everywhere, lovely bedding and a luxury bathroom! A really good experience! Thank you to the host.

This studio is really lovely, thought of every detail and you feel really welcome. We spent 4 days between Christmas and New Year, and the apartment was nicely decorated, even the hand soap smelled like Christmas. Really lovely duvets and pillows with nice warm linens. The apartment is a short distance to Hafjell alpine center and with ski locker rentals under the gondola, the studio worked perfectly for 4 days skiing for 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 14).
