The house is located on a farm with sheep and dogs, next to the house where we live. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city center, and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored Österdal house from the 19th century, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, coffee press and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of NOK 300 only covers preparation of rental unit and not final cleaning.

There is no car traffic at the cabin, and the parking is therefore about a 10-minute walk from the cabin. This creates a calmness without traffic noise, something you don't get many other places.

Approx. 25 min by car to Lillehammer city center. (14 km) 30 min to Hafjell and Hunderfossen. If you want to ski in the mountains, it is about 15 min. by car to Fåberg Vestfjell. Large garden, so nice for families with children. It is recommended to have your own car☺️
