Walking distance to Skalet's square with bakery, shop & restaurants. You can reach the slopes in a few minutes by car. Here you live comfortably up to 8 people. Relax and enjoy in the hot tub & sauna after a day in the mountains. Light a fire in the fireplace and cook a good dinner in the well-equipped kitchen. South-facing balcony with Weber grill & seating furniture.

Fantastic newly built mountain cabin for 5 guests, cozy and personal setting. Here you can really enjoy, close to all of Vemdalen's offerings! Short walk, then you slide down on the skis to Skalspasset/Väst Express lift, until evening on the skis all the way to the cabin. Free access to large wood-fired sauna, barbecue & fireplace. Electric car charger! In the summer an excellent starting point for Vemdalen and Härjedalen's fantastic fishing waters/MTB. Liked gem with many returning guests, good pantry and home feel

Close to Sonfjällets National Park about 15 km, Vemdalen 8 km, Vemdalsskalet 15 km, Björnriket 15 km. Own boat at the cottage as well as in a lake in the mountains with good fishing. Access to fish smoke. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. 1 bedroom with 1 bunk bed. Kitchen/living room with fireplace, wood is included. WC/shower/sauna. The cabin is cleaned after stay. No pets or smoking allowed in cottage.

A beautiful, small and quiet campsite. We (couple + dog) felt right at home! You can take nice walks from the square and the Sonfjället National Park is right around the corner. The adjacent lake invites you to cool off. We'll be back!

The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was charming, and we especially enjoyed visiting the nearby waterfall—definitely worth a trip! A fantastic good accommodation for two people who like nature experiences or just want to take it easy. Great view of the mountain massif that stretches from Vemdalsskalet to Björnrike, among other things. Adjacent to the cottage about 100 meters away there is a gym, an electric light track and adventure golf with frisbee. If you walk about ten to 15 minutes you reach Vemdalen center where you will find well-stocked, grocery stores, restaurants and shops for, for example, the rental of outdoor equipment. If you also like to swim in the sauna or swim in the outdoor pool, there are both parts directly adjacent to the cabin on the terrace. We visited the cabin during the Easter weekend 2025 and were lucky to be able to hike on different trails nearby.

Eva Marie's place was very nice and comfortable. We had a great time there, the sauna was fantastic! Every piece of furnitures has it's own charm in the house and it is possible to cook a simple food. The house is easy to find and there is enough space for parking. Eva Marie was kind and helpful when I asked for something, so I definitely recommend to stay there! :)

Newly built holiday home in Vemdalskalet

Julia's cottage is perfect in every way. This was the second time we stayed there and it will definitely be a third. The cottage delivers exactly what is described. Wonderful balcony overlooking the mountain and good seating areas with lovely blankets and fire basket for extra coziness. The sauna was well used, as usual. From here, you also have a good view of the calf mountain. The living room and kitchen together become the heart of the cottage with all the comforts and a large fireplace. We lacked nothing. The cottage is also in good proximity to various hiking trails and within 45 minutes by car you can reach both Sonfjället National Park and a variety of waterfalls. Perfect in every way.
