Cottage holiday rentals in Healdsburg

We’re very familiar with the surrounding area and this home is classic to the Russian River vibe. It’s easy to access Jenner Highland preserve, Armstrong woods and river activities. We found the listing to be accurate and very clean. We did not access the small secondary building but appreciated the hot tub. We also were glad we left our dog at home as there is no grass on the property and several stairs to navigate. It would certainly work for some dogs, but not ours was quite large. We did appreciate David’s immediate response to our request to edit our reservation when we decided not to bring our dog; excellent communication!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The hosts, Lynn and John, were friendly and welcoming. We brought our baby and they left out a booster seat, child plates/bowls, toys, and made up the crib for him! We were able to do a barrel tasting, which was fantastic! We loved the hot tub and the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the corn hole and fire pit! Will have to come back!

This is a charming place, beautifully kept with lovely furnishings. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen as we cooked every day. The yard and gardens are beautifully kept, peaceful and serene. Oranges growing right outside the house! We were in town for a wedding, and Santa Rosa is right in the middle of so many enjoyable things to do. We hiked on the CCT out past Bodega Bay, enjoyed restaurants in Healdsburg, visited the redwoods and shopped at the Barlow in Sebastopol. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely home. We had a fabulous time!

This was our second time staying at Red Door Retreat and we had another great visit. As before everything was exactly as pictured and described. Checkin was very smooth and communication with Brett was great. We particularly enjoyed the several nice outdoor spaces and the hot tub. Quiet setting but short drive to local attractions and Guerneville town center. Highly recommended!

My family and I had an enjoyable weekend stay at Peter’s cottage. The location was beautiful and home was cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and I appreciated a clean porta-crib that was provided.

What a great cottage! When they say it is a high tide cottage, that means when the high tide comes, the ocean is completely underneath of you. It was exhilarating! It reminded me of owning a boat and hearing that soothing sound of the waves while I’m trying to sleep. Totally relaxing. It is a bright and cheery cottage with lots of light coming in from the windows. There is a small hot tub outside on the deck where you can sit and listen to the waves at night as well. I heard back from the host every time I texted and they were very helpful. The place was clean and has an enclosed deck that wraps around the house. There are sunset views, and you can poke at the tide pools on the beach right in front of the house at low tide. I would love to return to this place.

Zorelle was communicative from booking - Check out. He answered questions promptly, gave great recommendations and instructions for our stay. The cottage was as pictured and very comfortable. It made our "Bucket list" week the best place to recoup in the evening. We had a great time!

In a word - delightful! We very much enjoyed the back deck and patio with morning and afternoon sun, a relaxing yard with views of the river, osprey, swallows and even deer. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances/utensils/cookware/dishware etc for easy mealmaking. Playing records from Adam's collection was memorable & reminiscent. The beds were very comfortable - especially nice with french doors looking out to the back yard and riverscape. The location is easy distance from Monte Rio, Jenner and Guerneville, paddleboarding, beaching, hiking nearby plus nice to walk our dog Lexie in the extended neighborhood. Adam was a great host. We highly recommend Adam's delightful cottage retreat, and look forward to future stays!

Our group of three stayed here for a night to enjoy a vineyard experience before making our way to Yosemite. The cottage was clean and well maintained and the hosts were extremely responsive.

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend in Sonoma staying at this lovely cottage! The location is super walkable to both the square and to nice hiking trails. Everything was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Linda is a great host. Cares about her guests. She had the room set to be cool upon arrival. The room is spacious and pleasantly comfortable. The Friday farmer's market is an easy walk, just down the street. Quiet neighborhood.

Beaux Maison Sonoma is a true gem. This Airbnb is in the hills of Healdsburg, CA, in a beautiful, quiet, and private location. The house is charming and cozy, and the host is very helpful and responsive to all my questions. I have already marked this property as a favorite and I will definitely be back.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place. Access to the river was a very short walk from the home. The house was clean and clear of clutter.

My husband and I (along with our 6 month old and our dog) enjoyed a perfect Fathers Day/Birthday weekend at Dennis's cottage! The location couldn't be better - so easy to grab provisions or a quick bite around the corner at the general store, and amazing to be able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The cottage is cozy - just the right size for two adults and a dog - with everything you need. Having a washing machine was extra convenient, and the balcony and fire place made for relaxing evenings. We love Dillon Beach and are so happy we found this place! Don't hesitate to book :)

Mark was a great host and we would love to visit again! With the hand delivered bakery treats, beautiful scenery, and awesome location this stay is wonderful and highly recommended for a visit!

Edrene’s place is even more beautiful and quaint in person! Great views in the backyard, nice and quiet neighborhood, but only 10min drive from downtown.

Wow! This property is absolutely stunning. Private and peaceful, it’s straight out of a magazine! Just 6 minutes from the most beautiful hiking trail, Goodlove Trail and just minutes to drive to some of the most beautiful wineries! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

We loved spending the weekend at Mike’s Healdsburg cottage - a great place with everything we needed, central location that felt peaceful, nice outdoor space, and Mike is a super responsive and helpful host. We will gladly come back!

The Moonrise Cottage is beautiful. It is just as the pictures show. Gorgeous, amazing views. Tasteful inside. Peaceful retreat. We loved it! We were lucky enough to see the 99% full moon rise from cottage. Something not to be missed! The woodstove was nice to have on the cold evenings. And even though it was cool, I couldn't resist an outdoor shower, which was great. Aaron was perfect about communicating with us, including a great guide to the area.

From the moment we arrived, we felt at ease—surrounded by the redwoods, with everything so thoughtfully designed and cared for. You’ve created a place that feels both grounding and inviting, and we appreciated the attention to detail. The location was perfect for exploring—close to the Russian River, Armstrong Redwoods, and not far from the coast. But honestly, just being able to relax in the quiet, surrounded by trees, was a gift in itself. We also really appreciated how warm and responsive you were throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub chemistry was well maintained (not always the case). Best of all, such a great location for anything in Monte Rio. We were there to see a concert and could walk to the beach, to town, and to and from the event. And after the event, we could sit out in the backyard in the hot tub under the beautiful redwoods (which were nicely lit) in the evening. Great spot. Would recommend and will stay there again if we ever have reason to be in Monte Rio. Plus Tom was very communicative as a host which I appreciate.

We loved staying at this charming Airbnb near downtown Napa. The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were well-organized, and the host, Robert, was very easy to communicate with and left very clear instructions (down to how to start the shower and where the trash was located in the kitchen). A highlight was using the lovely back yard -- and morning and evening visits from an adorable neighborhood cat, Clyde. It was a safe and quick 15 min walk to downtown Napa. Would strongly recommend!

This is our third time staying at Kathleen’s cottage. And we would definitely stay again. The cottage is beautiful - blooming flowers and lavender with a European country vibe. It is the perfect get away - peaceful sitting on a wrap around deck, comfy beds and the perfect location to go wine tasting or explore the area. Kathleen really makes the effort to make you feel special with wine and yummy snacks awaiting your arrival. Thank you Kathleen for another wonderful weekend!!!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. We attended a festival in Napa and were close enough to get to the venue in under 30 minutes and far enough to get away from the crowds and parties at an affordable price. The cottage was the perfect size, cute, clean, private, and homie - I would definitely stay again. Susan and Tom were super responsive and great hosts.
