We are a twenty minute journey from Robin Hood Airport and 15 minutes from the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, a must visit for Adults & children. Nearby leisure activities include many well established and renowned fishing lake complexes.

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. Shona is such a lovely person who made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in felt private and homely with plenty of space. The bed had a comfortable mattress and we slept well, which was helped by the thoughtful addition of night time teabags in the room. I have never used AirB&B before but this experience has made me look forward to trying it again. A nice chat when we wanted to chat, but privacy in the room. To sum up staying with Shona I would say it felt like staying with a friendly relative.

Jayne was so warm and welcoming and made me feel at home right away. Her beautiful garden was an added bonus. Another highlight was the excellent walk-in shower. The room was really clean, quiet and comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to others

Super stay at Clare's, everything you could need for a short stay. Stayed o ernight on a Sunday which meant the pub opposite was closes but plenty of i fo on local venues. takeaways etc.
