Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hawaiian Paradise Park

Loved this place and Kaleo as a host! We stayed here for our son’s college graduation and it was perfect. Its location is near everything with a beautiful view out back. The house is spacious and has so many items in the kitchen - serving pieces, cooking utensils, pans and spices. It was perfect for hosting our family one evening. It is on a busy street and the airport is across the road, but it didn’t bother us. At night it was just white noise. The back deck was our favorite location. It is huge with a great view of the park and water. Kaleo was so nice, texting to make sure we were comfortable and even gave us a late checkout after graduation. Thanks!

Off the beaten path kind of location. Not in a commercial area, so very quiet location. Beautiful views all day! Place has been well kept. Slept to the sounds of waves every night and woke up to sunrises. Janice strives to make you feel right at home. place had games, beach stuff (boogie board, chairs, mats, beach games, cooler). These are the tropics so expect some bugs; no escaping that. Host is very responsive and takes care of anything that may happen.

Great location and available amenities for our party of 6. We would definitely stay at Julie’s place again whenever we are near Hilo.

Words really don’t do a good job of describing just how beautiful this home and property are. So peaceful and serene. A true treasure. You will not be disappointed. Easy and straightforward check in. Great communication from Brenda. We look forward to returning.

We loved our stay at Christina's place in Volcano. It is really close to the entrance of Volcanoes National Park. We used the location as our base for visiting the Southeast side of the island (Volcano, Mauna Kea, Akaka Falls and Hilo) then on the way out to stay on the Northwest side of the island we made a stop at Punalu'u Black Sand Beach. Everything is just as stated in the description. Very clean and the kitchen had anything we needed. The family really loved the thoughtful amenities available; especially the heated mattress pads and bath towel warmers!! The one thing to keep in mind when planning your trip is there isn't much open in the area for food when coming back late from your adventures; so make sure to pick up some snacks and lite food supply on the way in. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the Big Island! Thanks for everything Christina!

My family and I planned a trip "home" for our father who was born and raised in Hilo. We wanted to make it extra special where we could be together and get some rest and relaxation. I have to say, we were so grateful to have found this home! Our group consisted of 6 adults and 2 children. We all had ample space to spread out and we each had plenty of privacy. We prepared breakfast/lunch and snacks at the house which has a good size kitchen and went to Hilo for dinner each night. Hilo is an easy 20–30-minute drive from Keeau. The house was very clean and well stocked with paper goods, linens, etc. They do a good job maintaining the exterior which I know can be tough given the proximity to the water. We were able to watch the sunrise each morning from the deck! Any issue that popped up was immediately addressed and resolved by the management team. The trip was so special that we are going to make it annual, and we all look forward to returning to Mika Kai again!

The view was spectacular! We considered staying in Hilo and are so happy we did not. McKenzie’s place was the perfect for our family to relax and enjoy time together. McKenzie was a great host. Highly recommend!

I only have a 1,000 character limit which sucks because I’m a very detailed reviewer. So I apologize for it being brief. But I will try my best. Host response from beginning to end was almost immediate. Home/Property was beautiful and very clean. Photos do no justice! AC was a huge plus for me and it did its job. Shower handle broke upstairs but was fixed by owner within the hour. Ran out of gas during dinner lol which sucked but a nice cold shower never hurt no one since hot water uses gas to heat up. Owner came by next morning to provide more. Family loved the home. Everyone had more than enough space. Kitchen has adequate appliances to get the job done. We left a blow dryer and a clothes steamer for the next group to use. Advice for the next renter: Leave exterior lights off to keep away night time bugs. Ensure windows and doors are completely closed so the night time critters don’t make their way in. They hang out at the doors lol. I would definitely rent again. You should too!!!!!

A wonderful place away from the busy city! Our family enjoyed this home and all it had to offer, the pool, soaking tub, beautiful plants, frog hunting :) and even the games left for the guests. We traveled into Hilo most of the days here but our host gave us wonderful local recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. It was a beautiful home tucked away in a beautiful botanical garden!

Perfect spot in Volcano to explore from!

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. Being so close to the ocean is fantastic. Such wonderful views from the bedrooms and kitchen/living room. Our family of six made many wonderful meals in the open concept, kitchen and enjoyed dining on the lanai. Be sure not to miss the sunrise as you’re enjoying your morning coffee. Kim was once again wondeful host. We truly appreciated her generosity in offering us a few extra hours at checkout and refunding our cleaning deposit. We have family that lives in HPP and we try to come out regularly to visit. This will continue to be our go to spot if it’s available. Thank you for another wonderful stay Kim!!

Lotus on Jade is a beautiful property nestled just down the road from Volcano National Park. The rooms are clean and bright and it has everything you need. The small details are not missed with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided and the mini fridge stocked with water and small snacks. The use of the portable space heat was perfect for the cold nights. And the hot tub is perfect for two! 1000% would stay at Lotus on Jade again.

I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming, and responsive. They made sure everything was perfect and were always quick to answer any questions I had. Their kindness and thoughtful communication made the experience even better. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much for making my trip so enjoyable!

Lovely wooden cottage, hidden in Volcano village, few min. drive to Volcano national park. Surrounded in lush greenery, tranquil, very well furnished and cozy.

The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the shower drain button. Water kept accumulating, and I had to keep pressing the button constantly to let it drain. But that’s an easy fix. Everything else was absolutely 5 stars—thank you so much for hosting!

5 STARS 5 STARS 5 STARS!!! My girlfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary and it was pure bliss. Far enough away from the city so you can have your own peace and comfort but close enough to drive wherever on the island. We loved the solitude of the location and the soothing sounds of rain, frogs, and birds surrounding the place. This place is a gem! To add, Malie was very responsive before, during, and after the process! Super helpful with great suggestions and clear instructions. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and experience!

What a great retreat, it’s like a cozy nestled rainforest sanctuary but in Hawaii. Cozy, quaint, clean and perfect proximity to the natl, park.

Enjoyed our stay in Cabin 6, it had everything we needed for trip to the island. Short drive to VNP and other Hilo. Birds are quite vocal through the night but that’s just a part of staying off the beaten path.

Great place to stay out in the Rainforest. Dawn is very responsive and a great host. Definitely recommend for those looking to stay out in the forest instead of in town. Definitely a remote spot, great set up.

We are so happy we discovered this hidden gem and will definitely be returning! It was the most incredible place we have stayed on the big islands: a perfect mixture between luxurious and natural! The pool front bungalows are pristine, comfortable and clean and are on an amazing pool deck which is like a huge tree house built in and around a vast forest of endemic Ohia trees! The pool deck features a pool, hot tub, rain showers, clean bathrooms, shared kitchen and a lounge area with many tranquil areas to relax and enjoy the forest. Drinking my morning tea in the hot tub, I saw several native birds flying among the Ohia trees! I highly recommend this place for people of all ages! My children loved it and enjoyed the freedom of not having to wear swim suits! Hosts were responsive and flexible and very accommodating!

We loved are stay the location was perfect. Star gazing at night, the fireplace was nice. Fully stock kitchen. A few roaches here at there… lol although it was cold at night and early mornings the house was stocked with extra blankets heaters etc. that was much appreciated. The only down side is only one bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
