Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg is 45 minutes away. The Schweigmatt swimming pool is a club pool. You can buy it for 20 euros for 4 times.

Pfaffenberg is a small village at 700 meters above sea level above the Wiesen Valley with proximity to Switzerland and France. Our Black Forest house with a south-facing location offers up to three guests a cozy stay. The border triangle allows a variety of cultural and sporting leisure activities. I have traveled a lot myself, speak good German, English, French, Spanish and a little Italian and am always very happy about guests from near and far.

Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.
