The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. The hut is set within private grounds in a peaceful setting,on a small holding.The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers, cyclists and for numerous outdoor activities. There are picturesque walks directly from the hut, to mention just a few ,Winn hill, River Derwent, Jacobs Ladder and Ladybower Reservoir. The nearby village of Castleton famous for its blue John Caverns is just a 10 minute drive away.

Bridgefoot Cottage - Wild Swimming & Hot Tub

Bridgefoot is a beautiful 17th century cottage situated in the Peak District. Guests have full use of the property including a modern, fully equipped kitchen, perfect for entertaining. There is also an exceptionally comfy and cosy sitting room, equipped with 2 sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed) a log burner and a Smart TV. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious four poster bed and an ensuite bathroom. Next door is a spacious second bedroom with two comfortable single beds.

A private, self-contained, en-suite annex, next to the River Wye, in a tranquil setting. Direct access to covered decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car strongly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.
