Waterfront holiday rentals in Harkers Island

Absolutely loved staying here! It was an end unit as described and the beach veiw from the balcony was breathtaking. Easy beach access, kid friendly unit, very clean and comfortable. It felt like home on arrival, we were able to unpack easily and still enjoy the rest of the day in the area. Stacy was very quick to answer when we had an issue and resolved it within the hour. Would recommend staying here, especially if you have kids.

The condo was really nice. The distance from the beach to the condo was less than 200 feet. Upon arriving the first thing I noticed was how clean and nicely decorated it was. Place was well stocked with essentials. There's a closet in the hall thats stocked with soap, bandaids, first aid, paper towels and everything needed. Appliances were new, clean and functional. TVs worked and the sound bar was a nice surprise as I would rather listen to music than watch TV. I can honestly say I cant think of one negative thing. Thank you for having us. We really had a great relaxing time, and thanks for the restaurant recommendations. We hit Gaffers twice but mostly sat on the deck and ate. That view is fantastic.

My husband, daughter and pet dog Mocha enjoyed our stay. We very much enjoyed visiting the Shackleford Banks and seeing the wild horses and dolphins. My daughter and I spent some time on their dock our last night and it was very peaceful, I only wish we took advantage of that more as well as maybe kayaking over to the little island across the way. My only fall back was I kept bumping my head on the walls of the apartment but I was the only one that had the issue, my husband ( who is taller) and daughter did not. Most likely my very own perception issue😜

To start I saw another review upset the view of the ocean wasn’t accurate. I’d like to say it’s totally completely visable and so nice to sit and drink coffee on and listen to the waves in the morning and evening. We will be booking here again! It was spotless and spacious! Loved the amount of beds and TVs for down time with kiddos. The balcony was so fun to hang out on! Less than 5 minute walk to the beach! Showers down at beach! Pool was SO cute love that the normal pool and kiddie pool are RIGHT beside each other. The kiddie pool is fenced seperate which as a mom of multiple is 🙌🏼 HUGE!! Close to fort Macon and cool shops! Very close to coffee, food lion bojangles and Walmart is only 18 min away! Splash pad very close as well!No elevator but the steps keep ya in shape and the kids loved going up and down them and up and down the hallways. No noisy neighbors very well kept up place! Loved the minimalist feel with decor kept it feeling very spacious! 2 full bathrooms! Easy clean up

We loved this place. It was clean, comfortable, it had everything that we needed, it’s walking distance to nice places to eat and drink, that are right on the water and it has a pool!!!

Great spot with easy walkability to swansboro restaurants and shops. We had a great time and everything was just a we expected. Will stay again!

Only issue we had, guys are avid fisherman, due to low tides and timing of such, we could not dock our boat at the house. Thankfully boat launch was 2 minutes down the road so it didn’t interfere with them fishing😊. Besides that perfect vacation, beautiful water, scenery, islands to tour and very relaxing time in the evenings😊

This house was very clean, the view from the back porch was awesome. The house itself was beautiful inside, clean, everything was just perfect. We plan on going back again. We would recommend this place to anybody.

We had a fantastic stay at this beach condo! It was spotless, well-stocked, and super comfortable. The location was perfect — just steps from both the pool and the beach. Nick was easy to work with and very responsive, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Penny’s place was absolutely amazing! From the minute we walked in the door it exceeded our expectations! The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and fully stocked with all you need for a family beach vacation. Penny was very responsive with any questions we had and gave many great recommendations for places to eat and shop. Would highly recommended her home and we hope we can come back very soon!

A beautiful house for our family to enjoy together. Being on the water and having a private pier/dock was so wonderful! Garet was very friendly and responded quickly when we needed to reach out to him throughout the stay! The only thing I would make sure to be aware of is that there are stairs throughout the house. I saw stairs in the photos, but in case you have someone staying who has mobility issues, keep in mind that there are at least 2-3 stairs that you must go up/down to get to any bedroom and the living room area. Wasn’t a huge issue while we were there, but I can see how it could be. All in all, we had a wonderful experience & would definitely recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

Quiet spot Downeast. It was a comfy stay. Travis was super quick to respond when we locked ourself out the house. Would be happy to stay again!

Mel’s place was great with plenty of room for me and my coworkers. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were clean. Couldn’t have asked for much more. Would be a great place to stay for a getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was perfect for my husband and I. There were so many thoughtful touches that we appreciated like the welcome gift, extra plush towels, fan, and super comfortable bed! The room was exceptionally clean as well which is always important. The room had everything we could have needed! We can’t wait to come again and stay here. Great place to stay! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, playing golf at Harbour pointe and exploring downtown new Bern on day 1, and then touring tryon palace, playing disc golf, and enjoying the amenities on property on day 2. Sara’s is a great dinner spot nearby for dine in or pick up!

We had a wonderful stay here! The condo was very clean and spacious. We had a newborn with us and were able to easily fit her pack and play in the bed room. It is a short walk to the beach and a nice peaceful area. We will definitely book here again! Thanks for a great weekend!

If you like being right on the beach, this place is for you. Beautiful moon scapes at night. Very quiet area of the island.

Love, love, love! Everything as described, extremely clean and super easy access to the beach. Extra amenities all very thoughtful and so appreciated! All ramps to access beach which was perfect for my jogging stroller with my littlest! Highly recommend!!

This is very comfortable and convenient to the beach, and the kitchen was well-stocked. My kids and I loved the pool.

Anita was great reaching out to make sure our arrival was good, and that there were no issues. We have stayed numerous times over the last 5-6 years. It is a great location, plenty of amenities, and feels the comfort of home. I highly recommend her place you are planning to stay in the Beaufort/Morehead city area. She is one of the best host I deal with when using Airbnb!

Andrew was very responsive and easy to work with. His condo was perfect! We loved spending time on the balcony, the view is spectacular!! It was a perfect trip to NC❤️
