One of my top 5 airbnb stays across the globe, The location is an absolute gem. Nestled in a serene and private setting, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peace and quiet were truly restorative. What truly set this property apart was the abundance of activities available. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our days fishing in the nearby lake, leisurely rowing on the water, and engaging in friendly competition with the provided board games, BBQ in the evenings. As night fell, the lack of light pollution made for breathtaking stargazing when the skys are clear. Truly a recommended place.

Awesome cabin with plenty of space and everything you need for a few days. We had a little trouble with the shower to begin with, but Ane addressed it immediately, so that word was very quick and okay. :-) Great nature nearby, relaxing and pleasant. Very easy to feel right at home here!

Great home for kids - our kids (6 and 9) had a blast. As did the adults. The tram is a few minutes from the front door, great location.

We had a lovely week at Arve's house! The house is spacious, quiet and comfortable, the environment is beautiful. Feel free to take the ferry to get to Bergen, it's easier than by car!

A few weeks later and we are still dreaming about this place. The home itself is so idyllic and traditional, we felt so lucky to stay here. Sandvikstorget is so peaceful and quiet and if you stay here then it’s easy to strike a balance between hygge and the bustling city atmosphere. Strolling around this area we saw an abundance of beautiful architecture and nearby was Falske Reker wine bar which is perfect for watching the sunset plus the amazing Bakeri 29 for breakfast / lunch. The house was spotless and although it was small, every inch of space has been used efficiently which made it feel more spacious and cosy. We particularly loved the bathroom layout. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to make a home-cooked meal and the supermarket around the corner was so useful. We truly cannot fault this place and have recommended it to all of our friends. We can only hope you return again in the future!

Hi, We were 4th on holiday in Norway between the years. We felt so incredibly comfortable in the place, just like in the area! We didn't want to leave and would recommend it to everyone and book again! Those who don't book this place will definitely miss something! Thanks very much.

perfect size for two people, perfect location to myrkdalen resort (easy beautiful ~15 minute drive), good water pressure, space efficient, heated bathroom floors, ample storage. Adequately equipped kitchen (kettle, paper towels, napkins, cutlery and plates, fridge, etc.). Has everything you would need for a short trip. Ample EV charging stations as well. Would come again for the views and value for $!

Great location for cross-country skiing on Hovden. Central location, close to the river, shops and restaurants.

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

Good place to stay, felt like home

Marte was extremely helpful and responsive to our last minute accommodation requests. The apartment was perfect and the bus stop was just outside. Would stay again!

Our family of two adults and two children spent 3 nights at Christian's cabin at the start of the winter holidays. Nothing to postpone in either cabin or surroundings! Great decorated cabin that had everything we needed and more. Great to be able to strap on the cross-country skiing just outside the door, trek over the yard also we were right in the light trails. The jacuzzi was also a big plus, which we took advantage of every night. Christian was friendly and quick to respond when we had any questions. Highly recommend the place to stay!

lovely farmhouse very close to the Ullensvamg Hotel and the centre of Lofthus. We had a lovely stay and happily come again!

This place is recommended. Located rural to the sheltered from noise. Light and find your way according to directions. Had a dog that wasn't a problem. The host had left a bag for four-legged that fell well in taste😎 Otherwise, clean and tidy and equipped with what you need👍

This cabin is a real gem nestled in a corner of paradise. Accessible in only 10 minutes on foot from the parking lot, the path to this is perfectly marked. The kitchen, fully equipped, offers all the essentials to prepare delicious dishes or desserts. Comfortable, the cabin also has a TV, wifi, and much more.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional cabin. The hosts had thoughtfully prepared everything in advance, including water and firewood, which made our stay worry-free. We enjoyed a fantastic time with friends, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Norway. Highly recommended!

Christen met me near Bryggen and pointed out all the eateries and the French bakery along the route. During checkin he provided thorough and helpful about the apt plus a look at a detailed guidebook he designed for area activities, entertainment and dining. Best yet is Jorunn’s lovely apt thoughtfully and tastefully decorated in a 40’s vintage style and feel immediately at home. Spacious with window views of red tiled rooftops and harbor. Period kitchen cabinets and new appliances. China plates, prints, needle point and paintings on the walls with shelves of pottery and plants. Colorful print duvet. Heated bathroom floor. I love Bergen, but this apt was a highlight of my stay.

Cozy hostess. This was a small but very clean and neat apartment , with everything we needed for our stay. Traveled with 2 grandchildren . They slept on double sofabed in living room. There was some sweets and reading material for these 2, cozy! playground/kindergarten right outside. Short drive from to Leirvik city center and adventure forest. Very happy with both apartment and stay. Thank you for us , we would love to come back.
