Hanmer Family Hideaway

Our home is close to the centre of Hanmer Springs. It is situated on a private flat rear section with an outlook to the surrounding mountains. You are required to clean this home when you leave and bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. Or these can be provided upon request for an additional cost. Just a few minutes walk away is the Hanmer golf course, tennis courts, a children's skate park and playground. The village shops and hot pools are a 10 minute walk along flat streets.

Relaxing Stay In Hanmer

Lovely warm and sunny, 3 bdrm house with great views of golf course and the mountains. A quick 15 minute walk into town. Situated on the flat with all day sun. Good size deck with outdoor table and bench seats to sit and enjoy the sun, the garden and relax while dining Plenty of firewood for the fire in winter. Please make sure you read info on linen and cleaning in “Other Things To Note” and house rules before making your booking and let us know if you require linen or clean to be booked.

Immaculate house situated in Hamner village, a 5 minute walk into town. Very warm and cosy house with lots of sun and privacy. Sleeps up to 7 people. Main bedroom has an ensuite with a king bed. Second bedroom has a queen bed, Third has a double and a single in bunk format. As a lover of fine linen - all beds have 100% cotton percale sheets and silk, wool, feather or cotton duvet inners. Has a large wood fire and ducted air conditioning unit. Main bathroom has a luxurious freestanding bath.

It is warm & sunny with a heat pump, bedroom heaters & log burner for the cooler months. We have many return guests. Our home is run in the style of a typical kiwi bach which means you need to bring your own linen/towels & you also clean the house, wash the dishes & take your rubbish on your departure day.

Pottery Corner

This 1960s A Frame house and is the original site of the Hanmer Pottery. The house has a refurbished kitchen and bathroom and is an attached house with your own space and fenced yard. Upstairs Queen room looks towards the Lewis Pass.The other is to the main road arriving in Hanmer Springs. If you are looking for something a little different Pottery Corner is just that. On arrival you may hear our wee pooches greeting you over the fence.

The living / dining area flows out onto a sun filled deck with magnificent views of Mt Isobel. A level parking area is located right next to the house, with space for two cars. Downstairs there is lockable storage with power - a great place to store bikes. Linen included
