Monthly Rentals in Hancock

Spacious cabin in a quiet part of Hancock, ME—a 30-50 minute drive to most spots in Acadia. We enjoyed the privacy and being pretty much in the middle of the woods. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, plenty of outdoor space for a quiet morning coffee. Beds were comfortable, hot water always available. We did our own groceries and mostly made food in the kitchen, would recommend that to other travelers. There are some decent takeout places 5-15 minutes drive away. There are a few rooms that are still a work in progress (they're not shown in the photos), but the rooms that are shown in the photos are very comfortable. We didn't have an issue with the quiet, but it's worth noting that for some it might be eerie.

We loved our stay. We visited mostly for our trip to Acadia, so we did a lot of back and forth driving, but our stay at Treetop was peaceful and perfect for our needs. We love the quiet and the beautiful view. The trail connected to the property was a huge bonus—our pup loved it! Suzanne was very helpful, detailed, and responsive. We appreciated her guidance!

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

Patty’s house is in a great location and was ideal for my group (two couples). The house seems recently renovated, was very clean, and had plenty of space. We found it especially helpful to have a washer/dryer, since we were hiking in Acadia during the day and enjoying the house in the evenings. Patty was also very responsive and helpful.
