Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hamlin Lake

This house was perfect for our group of 12. We went ATV riding and location was great for that. Wonderful setting that was so extremely quiet and relaxing. Would love to go back just to stay in the house.

This is a great place! Beautiful lake views and so many amenities. Kathy has gone above and beyond and thought of every little detail and the small things which matter! A welcome box of snacks, plenty of K cups for coffee. The place is immaculate and I would definitely recommend!! Thank you Kathy!

The Island View cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. The beach was sandy and had all of your lake entertainment needs. The home was spacious and cozy. it had all of the basic kitchen items.

We loved this hidden little gem and just like the little gems we found around the Michigan and costal area. This place is super clean and has everything you would need. The hot tub, game room, lake close by and the fire pit is all a bonus. WE ALSO LOVE THE FACT THAT THIS PLACE IS DOG FRIENDLY!! Lots of great memories were made and thanks to this wonderful little cabin!

Really lovely place! Spent a weekend here with some friends from college, and we barely had to leave once we were there. Nice little lawn overlooking the lake with kayaks and other things available to use. The cottage itself was roomy enough for 5 women to hang out without feeling overcrowded, and it was fun to see the photos of Katrina’s family spending time at the cottage in the past 😁

Not even sure where to begin! We booked this for my friends low-key bachelorette party and it was the most perfect place for us to relax and unplug! Shana was an amazing host, always communicating via the app in a very timely manner. The house was pristine and SO cute! It was clean and stocked with everything you could need (paddle board, kayaks, life jackets, wood, spare tooth brushes, ample towels, kitchen items, coffee were some of our favorites). The ONLY complaint - which is to no fault of the host - is that the mosquitos were thick at all hours of the day so be mindful of that :) have already reccomended this place to many friends and hoping I can back here soon too. 10/10 recommend!

This House is the perfect summer getaway for all Families! The toddlers absolutely loved the beach and the water and Brenda was extremely accommodating to them! The nature and bird watching were phenomenal. The perfect mix of peacefullness and fun to make for the perfect family Vacation for any Family, Thank You Brenda!!

The place was exactly what was expected. Peaceful, beautiful, everything we needed! Our dogs loved swimming in the water and running around. They were exhausted by the end of the day, which was a bonus for us! Can't wait to schedule another trip up there. Thank you, Kirk and Angela for being wonderful hosts!

We all had a great time! House was clean and beautiful. I loved that there were so many supplies: extra towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. You don’t often get those extras at other places we’ve stayed. It was a nice quiet area and the neighbors were very friendly. Although there were 2 places to dock our pontoon boat, we had no problem with the walkway from the house to the backyard dock. It made it so easy to go out and fish anytime. The kayaks were a hit with the grandsons and they LOVE to go fishing and play outdoor yard games! We enjoyed the fireplace as it was a bit chilly when we were there.

Great little getaway in the middle of the country! The house was perfect for our little getaway. If you have a small family, this place is perfect for you!

We used the home for an annual ladies only get away, it was relaxing, beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed including a beautiful hot tub, our host was very responsive to messages, I would recommend it to anyone and will consider it again for a relaxing getaway.

This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway, and the views on the lake are beautiful. We fished off the dock and took the paddle boat out, and the house is set back away from traffic. There are houses on both sides of the property but we didn’t see neighbors during our stay. We spent most of our time outside but did cook most meals at home on the grill and inside in the well-stocked kitchen. There were lots of extra linens available and there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t available. John was a great host and we will definitely return for another stay.

This was our second time staying at Mandy’s place and it was great! Fishing was good, weather was great…we’ll be back!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay at Jodi's cabin. It felt like home away from home. The cabin and bunkhouse were cozy and fit our big family perfectly. The layout of the property with the fire pit/grill area, chairs, and hammock being located between the cabin and bunkhouse made for a perfectly private setting. There was never a dull moment for the entire family - kayaking, paddle boading, pedal boating, fishing (we rented a pontoon from John Kozicki Pontoon Rental), swimming, games, bonfires and sunbathing. It was exactly what we needed to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Jodi is a wonderful host and was responsive and friendly throughout the entire process. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was well-stocked with necessities and plenty of towels. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the master bedroom has an amazing view of the river. Not one complaint was heard during our stay, and we cannot wait for our next visit!

Amazing location right on the river with beautiful views and excellent fishing. Incredibly relaxing! Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Lance was very accommodating and let us check in 4 hours early ::) there’s no public beach access but it was nice to have the water in sight from the cabin across the street.

Truly an exceptional stay. Top tier hosts that have gone above and beyond to make the stay feel like home. Incredibly clean, no bugs. A really nice little house. Property is beautifully maintained. So relaxing. Wildlife everywhere. We loved all the turtles. The only negative would be the goose poop all over the yard, but that’s just wild life being wild (I would just pack footwear accordingly) Overall, we are super happy with our stay and hope to be back! Thanks for everything!

A perfect place to get away from everything. It was hard to choose whether to sit on the deck, down by the water or the fireplace! Walking into the river to fish right from the backyard was a huge bonus. Cathy was quick to respond to all questions and recommendations. Can’t wait to stay here again.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.

Super cute and cozy cabin that was perfect for our group of 6 while we were in town for the Bayshore Marathon. We enjoyed our stay!
