Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hamburg Township

Joanne was hands down the best host I've ever had on Airbnb! I've stayed at several lovely places before, but Joanne truly went above and beyond. Her home is beautifully curated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Her communication was warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. The location is just as amazing—gorgeous river views, a peaceful patio, and a spotless hot tub, all right in the heart of downtown Dexter. Staying at Joanne’s place was such a treat, and it’s definitely a trip I’d take again. Thank you, Joanne, for making it so special! :)

The pictures do not capture the true beauty of this property. The host was extremely helpful, friendly and fast to respond to any questions or needs. The pool is refreshing and the backyard was very well kept. My nieces had a great time playing in the pool and the hot tub was a wonderful way to wind down in the evenings. I do plan on returning to this property in my future when I visit.

This was, by far, the best air bnb we have stayed at! Fully stocked with all the extras, beautifully clean! The view was gorgeous, sound of the water so peaceful! Thank you so much for your thoughtful preparations! We’re not able to use the kayaks, water was a bit rough and still cool! But, we had loads of fun! Would love to come again!

Brandy and the Hickory House were both perfect on our recent stay! The location is wonderful and felt very safe. The house was very clean and included more than I would expect. Brandy was very responsive. It’s clear that she works hard at providing a very nice experience all the way around. I would definitely stay with her again! The only thing at all to mention for the general public is that there is one step down into the dining room. And the ground floor bedroom is through the dining room. So if you have mobility issues just know that there is one step there. There are also a few steps to the front door but those were pictured well in the advertisement. Excellent stay! Very happy!

I had a fantastic stay at Audra’s house! From the start, she was incredibly responsive and kind—always quick to answer any questions and offer helpful suggestions for local services. The house itself was spotless, well-organized, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining and equipping the space. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely book again!

Wow! What a view! We traveled to MI for my son’s wedding and needed a place to host us all. The property was beautiful. Charles was super responsive and helped with numerous questions in getting us settled. We had a fantastic stay! We had a mishap and forgot an item and Charles contacted me immediately. We stayed here for a 3 day course we needed to attend in Lansing. I saw this location and jumped on it even though it was 36 minutes from our class. Very beautiful stay! I was so excited to explore the old church as it has been my lifelong dream to convey an old church into a home. Unfortunately, I misunderstood as there is no access to the actual sanctuary from the air bnb. No matter! The furnishings of the stay are artistic and tasteful. I'm a huge fan of old architecture and the woodwork and art accents are extremely well placed. Take note, there are extra individual charges per person. I had not experienced this before and was a little surprised when it cost an extra 50 for two coworkers to stay one night when it got too late for them to drive back to Kalamazoo. But the host was responsive and understanding when I accidentally rented a movie under her Amazon (I paid her back). I felt so bad, so don't be like me- always remember to logout/login when using shared media! 😄

Keri's house is lovely, from the wonderfully appointed kitchen to the beautiful garden to the way the house is decorated, a lot of thought and care went into making our stay a pleasant one, thank you Keri!

Lisa was a wonderful host and even met us at the door when we arrived to make sure that we were settled in okay and knew how everything worked. She checked in throughout the stay just to make sure everything was okay which I appreciated. I would gladly stay here again as it was the perfect location for when we come to visit Lapeer. The place was very clean and lovely and the appliances were easy to use. Thanks again Lisa!

Cassandra was super awesome😌 I made a long drive from the bottom of the states and the house was very welcoming. Any issues or questions I had, she was very responsive and thorough especially considering I was unfamiliar with the area. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe (solo woman traveler). The apartment was extremely comfortable and the neighborhood was peaceful and pleasant, right across from a lovely park. Annie was a fantastic host, clear and helpful on all details. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect stay far enough to be private and quiet, yet 5-10 minutes to many restaurants, shopping centers, gas and anything you would need! 10-20 minutes to anything Ann Arbor or Saline have to offer - just so convenient. The “Loft” had all anyone needs for an easy stay and, again, really comfortable and quiet for rest or work. Thank you Amira and Issac - hope to be back soon! John & Laura

Deborah's place was as expected, great location. accommodations were great. Very clean, easy to find (Deborah's directions were very clear). Definitely would stay again!

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

This was our second time visiting Allison and Anthony’s place. We love that the location is close to and easy to get to downtown Detroit, while being just outside of the hustle and bustle to feel quiet and peaceful. Their place has everything you need, and they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable! To top it off, they provide wonderful local recommendations for activities, shopping, art/architecture, restaurants, and hidden gems!

Quaint, beautiful, peaceful, & charming stay. Will definitely go back. Adored the patio ambiance & backyard fun equipment provided. The crème de la crème was the bed by far. I’m a hot sleeper; but not here. Had restful, cool nights. If I knew what sleeping on a cloud felt like; I would definitely define it as there. We look forward to returning to Quonset Hut Cottage

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

The cottage was perfect for our Father /Daughter get away. Two comfortable beds, and functional kitchen/relaxation area. The gold was outside!!….awesome dock, kayaks, huge grill, lakeside fire ring. We caught fish off the dock or wading out 50 yards or so. Perfect weekend. We even had rain one day and still had a great time. Hosts were so friendly and responsive. Will stay again.

Staying at Matthew's Place was a delightful experience for us. Nestled in the charm of the 1950s, this fishing cabin brims with character. It's cozy and quaint, yet it doesn't skimp on cleanliness or convenience. Located near the enchanting Village of Clarkston, it offers easy access to local neighborhoods and the downtown area on foot. The serene lake, adorned with ducks, swans, and turtles, provided a peaceful backdrop to our stay. Rick managed to catch a big large- mouth bass, which, in the spirit of catch and release, was returned to its aquatic home. We took advantage of the canoe for a gentle paddle on the lake. We brought our own life vests, though Mathew does provide everything we needed. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend Matthew's Place to singles, couples, and small families looking for a quaint getaway with a touch of adventure.

The cozy cabin was clean, convenient location, you can sit on the back porch on the glider view of Lake Erie, pool table darts, checkers, fire ring, the sun porch was nice if you didn’t want to go outside for the view of Lake Erie!

Stephanie’s place was beautiful and private. Exactly what we were looking for as guests. It’s a a lot more spacious than I had imagined, and the view of the lake with the fire pit lit was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to family/friends and come back again for a future vacation. 🤩🤩
