Monthly Rentals in Hamblen Township

The Acre Ridge Cabin did not disappoint! We were looking for quiet and seclusion…We found it! Seldom did we hear any noise from passing cars or neighbors. We spent time exploring the woods and the little guy loved playing in the small creek. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. We also prepared and ate every meal except one in the well-appointed kitchen. The “Happy Jar Salsa” and taco chips were a tasty surprise! There were no kitchen gadgets that we were without (there was even an ice cream scoop). The beds were comfortable! We enjoyed reading books in the solarium and listening to the rain. We appreciated the firewood being delivered in advance of our visit. Sitting around the campfire telling ghost stories on Friday the 13th was spooky but fun. The supplies you provided to make s’mores came in handy. Thanks for offering us the extra night. Even with that we were not ready to leave. All in all, quite pleasurable. We would return when another quiet trip to the woods is needed.

Great house for our large group, one of the nicest and well stocked kitchens we have ever stayed in. Parking with large trucks and trailers was a little akward, but we made it work for one night. The front porch was the biggest feature to the house. It was amazing no matter the time of day you were out there.

We had a small family gathering to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. The property is excellently maintained. Quiet and peaceful. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the back deck, read, and listen to the birds in the woods. Lots of things to do on the property for both adults and kids. Within a 10-15 minutes drive to the little neighboring town that has a lot of small shops and restaurants to visit. Great spot for a long weekend away!

good spot…could use some updated kitchen supplies and such, but overall lovely…This was my dad’s first airbnb, and he didn’t have many complaints…nice big yard in the back…i jogged a few miles down the quiet road…saw a baby deer…lovely…about 15 minutes to downtown bloomington.
