Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

In this newly renovated house you live in the middle of nature, with only deer and fenced cows as neighbors. The surroundings are beautiful with a view of forest and oak grove, about a hundred meters away you have your "own" beach to swim from. The peaceful atmosphere without wifi and TV inspires calm and harmony in harmony with nature. The house is special - small but still high in the ceiling (3.40 cm), which gives a sense of space and cosiness. The outsight from the windows - works of art.

Amazing view to lake Unden, the largest fresh water lake in Tived. Fantastic to swim in when it's warm in the summer. Amazing sunsets and a very peaceful atmosphere. Romantic. The area straight down from the cabin by the water doesn't belong to the property but welcomes respectful visitors.

Stugan finns 4km utanför Sjötorp samt 10km utanför Lyrestad. Det finns möjlighet att ta sig dit med cykel. Göta kanal rinner genom båda samhällena där det även finns bland annat caféer, mataffär, restauranger, badplatser samt museum På bilderna kan man även se det fina sjötorp som ligger 10 minuter bort med cykel. En perfekt stuga för jägare, friluftsälskare eller för de som har vägarna förbi. Det finns även cyklar att hyra.

Här kan ni koppla av och njuta av lugnet, bada, fiska, promenera, cykla, plocka svamp. Huset ligger mittemellan Sveriges största sjöar - Vättern och Vänern så det finns många sevärdheter som ligger i närheten att besöka och njuta av.

Äppelgården Holiday Home is a small cosy house, situated between the outside of the small village Ullervad and a forest. The river Tidan flows at 200mtr. from the house. The house is suitable for 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The house is available only on a weekly basis. Mariestad area offers a lot of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, canoeing and interesting places to visit.
