Here you live in a 56 sqm cottage from the 70s with an upgraded kitchen and otherwise the most necessary. The cabin does not have wifi, and the focus is directed away from everyday stress and towards outdoor life, which has almost become a luxury now. Here you will find peace. Whether it's morning yoga on the terrace, waffles and coffee, making dinner on a campfire pan, taking a rowing trip, swimming, walking in the illuminated track, reading a book, or just doing as little as possible…

Bring your family – and feel free to bring a couple of friends' families as well. Here, you'll find plenty of space, a large sun-drenched terrace and a heated pool that invite you to relax and enjoy quality time. The house is our private holiday paradise, which we use when it is not being rented out. It means a lot to us, and we appreciate its charm and character. The house was built in 1936 and is constantly being renovated with respect for its history. Right by the house, a river flows, offering fishing opportunities and a lovely swimming spot – perfect for hot summer days.

The little cabin

Small old-fashioned cottage, on the heath in Verdal. Steep slope up, you should have a 4x4 car, there is a road up in autumn, spring and summer. Not winter. In the middle of nature, snowmobile track and ski terrain. If you want to have a few days in the mountains, and go hiking, this is a unique opportunity. Very simple and old, but also very cozy. Outdoor toilet, no running water, no electricity, no refrigerator and gas for heating food! Small generator. We keep firewood for heating. High mountains not far away. Great hiking opportunities! Charming cabin in Naglestad

At Bjennvann in Naglestad in Hægebostad municipality there is a charming year-round cabin with perfect sun conditions. The cabin has a large terrace, and otherwise a natural plot, with access to the beach and swimming raft. The cabin is fully equipped, and has the feel of a family cabin. There is enough room for 6 adults and 2 small ones around the table. Cold water that can be drunk. Hot water comes from the water boiler tank. Compost toilet. Portable shower for outdoor use. Poor Teli coverage, good Telenor coverage. Canoe with life vests (not kayak).

Perlå in Agder

Relax alone or with good friends or the whole family in this peaceful place in beautiful surroundings with lots of hiking opportunities. The cabin is small and charming, but very rich in content. With its three terraces in the outdoor area, you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. Swimming pool in the garden and several beaches nearby. Grocery store and bakery with delicious baked goods and farm sales are located 400 meters from the cabin. It is not without reason that this place is called "Perlå i Agder". Welcome! 😊

To Nasjonalt Villakssenter-Kvåsfossen: 5 km, 5 minutes by car. Kristiansand Zoo is less than 1 hour and 24 minutes away—perfect for family outings. With only a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you have everything within reach. There are excellent fishing opportunities in the river in the area, provided you have a valid fishing licence.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history.
