River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

A pasture of cattle is not too far away you can hear the mooing at times and see sightings of deer quite often. It’s a private and quiet location. Two large rivers, James and Rivanna offer recreational activities. Rustic cabin, country located. Clean and cozy with a well stocked kitchen with all your cooking needs. Farmstay on a 14 acre farm Queen bed loft upstairs. Down stairs has a bathroom, kitchen with sink, stove, oven, microwave, and complimentary kitchen-cups . There is a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Front and back porch, wireless internet and RukuTv. 14 acre farm with walking trails, old mill and creek. Pet fee $50. No aggressive breeds including Pitbulls. All monies go toward our Horse sanctuary 501c nonprofit. Cleaning Fee is $50.

Hawkwood House King Bedroom

Hawkwood House is close to Charlottesville, VA. It is in a 100-acre wood. Two guests share downstairs bedroom. Guests may use upper floor only with prior arrangements. It is a very quiet, peaceful setting. It is located near historic sites from colonial times of the United States and the Civil War and near Charlottesville VA and homes to three early US presidents (Monticello, Ash Lawn and Montpelier).
