This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

You can't get any closer to the lake. Directly at the port of Altnau, we rent our residential units on a weekly or long-term basis. Relaxation is guaranteed in this historic building, which was completely renovated in 2023 and is right on the waterfront with various leisure activities in the immediate vicinity. Apartment 4 is ideal for 2 guests. In addition, 2 more people can be placed on the sofa bed 140x190cm.

The quiet and cozy accommodation is centrally located in the middle of the beautiful village of Uttwil. You only need 3 minutes to the lake dam, where you can swim wonderfully. You can get to the train station, Volg and the bakery (also open Sunday morning) even faster. But if you don't like to cook after a busy day, there are some cozy restaurants on the lake where you can indulge in culinary delights.
