Beach and nature log cabin

A natural and relatively simple accommodation in a charming, timbered cottage on a forest and beach plot with access to lovely forest walks and swimming from the beach, cliffs and jetty. The cottage is located about 7 km from Västervik city center on a plot shared with our family (2 adults and 3 children aged 8-13 years) and our free-roaming dog. There is about 80 m of forest between the cottage and our house, so you live in relative seclusion with forest and sea bay as the nearest neighbor. At the same time, you pass our house on the way to the cottage and often meet up with the dog and host family who move around a lot on the property in the summers. You should appreciate nature and tranquility but you should not be afraid of people or dogs if you are going to enjoy yourself here :) The cottage is a simple timber cottage on 1 1/2 floors with a lot of charm and a lack of modernities in the form of TV. Here, the children can swim and play in the forest instead :) The property is a hilly forest plot, so unfortunately the accommodation is not very well adapted for disabled people. Pets are more than welcome as long as they work well with children and dogs. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam freely on the property if they get along well with our own farm dog :) Welcome to a relaxed and nature-oriented vacation at Västerbo!

Nattstugan – charming accommodation by the church in Västervik

Stay in one of Västervik’s oldest wooden houses, right next to St Gertrude’s Church, which dates back to at least the early 1700s. Nattstugan is an accommodation that exudes historic charm. The old loft apartment was carefully renovated by an architectural firm in the 1960s. The location is both central and peaceful, just a stone’s throw from Storgatan and Stadsparken. The apartment can accommodate a family of up to four. In addition to a small kitchenette and bathroom, guests have access to a cosy stone-paved inner courtyard surrounded by the church grounds.

Relax in this unique and cozy home. Warm welcome to "129". Our guest house is located right by the sea, on a secluded part of our garden. Quiet, harmonious and peaceful. Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik city center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three people. It is nice to dock by boat at our jetty if you want to bring a boat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we would like them to sleep in their own bed.

Welcome to beautiful Västervik! The house of 30 sqm contains a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom with shower, Bedroom with 2 beds and sleeping loft for 2 people. Pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Guests make their own beds. Of course, there is a TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers. Bikes are available for hire; it's only about 10 minutes to Västervik Resort and about 15 minutes to the town centre. Note: The house has been expanded in 2025 to get to a proper bedroom.

Newly renovated garden house for 5 people

Our garden house is a newly renovated accomodation located close to baths, golf and nature with walking distance to the town centre-approximately 10-15 minutes. The house is equipped with a fridge, freezer, stove, oven and a microwave oven and all the kitchen utensils you might need. During the summer months you also have access to a barbecue. One bathroom with toilet and a shower cubicle. There are 5 beds; one king size bed, one bunk bed and one sofa bed. We wish you very welcome!

In Västervik's archipelago is beautiful Gränsö, which is a peninsula and a nature reserve located about 5 km from the center of Västervik. Västervik became the summer city of the year in 2020. On a unique waterfront plot in one of Gränsö's best locations, we rent out our fresh 56 sqm cottage, from 2013. The cottage has 2 bedrooms + sleeping loft, kitchen and living room in an open plan with a fireplace. The cottage sleeps a total of 5 people. Toilet with shower and washing machine.

I ett lugnt område hyr vi ut vårt gästhus– med viss utsikt över vattnet och naturen som närmaste granne. Här vaknar du till glittrande hav och fågelkvitter och somnar till stillheten från skogen. Flertalet badplatser finns och den närmaste hittar man ca hundrafemtio meter från gästhuset. Vandringsleder kan du kliva på direkt runt husknuten.

The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering, you can seat 5 people at the kitchen table. The bathroom is spacious, with toilet, sink and shower. The price includes final cleaning, bathroom towels and bed linens. Free parking on the street.

Summer house by the lake

Relax with the whole family in this accommodation by a private lake surrounded by the Småland forests. At the lake, you can fish and swim. The house is only 10 minutes from the summer town of Västervik, and 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's World. Within 10 minutes by car, there are several lakes for fishing. The property consists of a house of 100 sqm and a guest house of 25 sqm as well as a terrace of 80 sqm with a view.
