Holiday rentals with breakfast in Gunma

Rika Hazuki is super friendly and the house is beautiful too!The artwork of glass flowers in the house is beautiful!The house is clean and hygienic, breakfast and dinner are abundant and refined and delicious!One thing that's inconvenient is that it's a bit far from the bus stop, and the nearest bus stop doesn't run much, but it becomes convenient to be able to contact Rika for pickup!

Of course, all the places I've stayed so far have been great, but above all, I was impressed by the hospitality-filled couple's response.Everything was wonderful and impressed by the clean interior, the veranda with a nice view, and the welcome of the couple.You brought a homemade breakfast to your room early in the morning, which is appreciated again!And it was all delicious!My husband's handmade carrot sauce was also very fresh and delicious, and the onigiri, potatoes, and meat dishes made by his wife were all delicious.I was about to cry while eating.I always want to use this place when I go to Chichibu.It's a very nice place to stay!

寺澤 (Terasawa) was a very gracious host who had very kindly offered to fetch us, as her schedule allowed for it. Apart from that, her home was very clean and welcoming, with wonderful amenities. Despite the language barrier, she still gave it her all to check in on us and made sure that we felt at home. The hot bath I had in her home was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the traditional Japanese breakfast she meticulously prepared was delicious as well. If possible, I would definitely pay a visit back to Chichibu just to stay at Terasawa’s home again. 10/10.

Rika was a great host, she offered a warm hospitality like an old friend. She picked us and dropped us at the train station. Yummy breakfast and we have had a great conversation of her work as an artist and really admired her arts and we ended up buying some of her unique art to bring home. Thank you for having us as your first guest. I will miss your little dog. Take care.

Had a lovely time staying at Masao Sans place. It's a great place to stay if you want to immerse yourself into japanese everyday lifestyle. Felt like I was staying at my grandma's house 😄

The bath is so beautiful! I was also able to use the luxurious living room! We can also talk about international stories. I recommend it because you are kind from start to finish!

The highlight of our stay was the host, Masao-san, and his mother. They provided us with breakfast, which was included in the stay fee. They also offered to cook us Japanese dinner for a small price, which we very much enjoyed. We also enjoyed our conversations with Masao-san. The place is walkable from the nearest station, Tobu-Nikko station. The road to the accommodation is luggage-friendly. The rooms are on the second floor, so bringing the luggage up can be a challenge, but this was expected and we were well-informed. The checkout time (12 PM) is quite rare, allowing us to enjoy more of the house and Nikko town.

The comfort of the stay, the price, communication, the good housing environment, the quality of the interior, and the spirit of service, all exceeded expectations and impressions. The host had a wide range of hobbies and backgrounds, not only enjoyed the conversation, but also the hospitality was top notch. If you want to relax in Nikko, I will stay again without hesitation. Yuu-san welcomed me for the New Years holidays even though I made a reservation in the last moment. He and his family are very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed exploring the traditional New Year's meals and the musical selection every morning :) This artistic home is in a peaceful countryside area and great if you need to disconnect and find your creativity. Thank you for your hospitality!

Yumi and Brad have turned a tired hotel into a great little place that offers Western style service while maintaining the charm of small mountain village family inn. Room was Japanese style with a big queen size bed. Could easily sleep 5 people making the value very good. Breakfast was simple but filling. Great little bar downstairs with live music 3 nights a week. The best part of Yumi's place is the location. Right smack in the center of town. Not a lot to do, but it's a great place for a few days. Oh. And the skiing is world class! Just a short walk to the people mover and the hill is yours. Hit the hot spring baths around town after a ski and you will know why Japan is so magical! I'll be back!

What an amazing stay at Aibiya! We only had 3 nights in Nagano and decided to stay at Yudanaka so we would have quick and easy access to the snow monkey park and the snow fields. Aibiya was the perfect place for our little family with kids aged 8 and 6, an easy walk to the train and bus station. Right from the time of booking, communication was first class. Seongmi and Yoshi offered heaps of suggestions and advice on visiting the region as well as tips for making it a safer trip. Upon arrival, Yoshi made the check-in process very easy, had lots of tips for dining and even booked us a private rooftop onsen at a nearby hotel. The guest house is a beautiful traditional Japanese hotel which immediately felt like home. Our room was spacious and the shared areas were clean and tidy with plenty of books, games and origami for the kids. By far the best thing about our stay were Seongmi and Yoshi, the most welcoming, warm and helpful hosts. We look forward to staying with them again!

Aibiya was a lovely place to stay for our few days in Yudanaka! The hosts are very kind and provided many recommendations for the local area, including restaurants, shops, and bars. The onsen passes that you can purchase from the hosts are great since you aren’t staying at a ryokan. Highly recommend!

Miho was a gracious and friendly host! We had daily homecooked breakfast which was delicious and hearty! The accoms was a 5min walk to the karasawa ski lift and the ski rental shop. It was certainly a pleasant stay!

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed with Rika and Greg. We came back because we knew it would be a wonderful weekend. Location is very close to Ishiuchi ski resort and a short drive from Echigo Yazawa station. There's a really nice onsen just down the street from the house. Rika/Greg have great recommendations for delicious restaurants nearby. The house fits two large groups comfortably with a big common area, nice kitchen, drying room, and a bathroom facility that works well for large groups. To me, that's all I can hope for in an Airbnb. What makes this place the best in Japan is Greg and Rika. They make you feel like family. Always good recommendations, always good stories, and always happy to help. Really looking forward to continuing our annual Ishiuchi tradition and see Rika and Greg next year.
