It looked even better than the photos! Very beautiful place, in a great location right next to the castle and with a beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay at Virginia's flat. The kids enjoyed to play with the dogs. We enjoyed the pool and the fireplace inside which was very cosy. Virginia is very friendly and gave us lots of helpful advices about what we could do to explore the surrounding. All in all, we enjoyed our stay a lot and despite bad luck with the weather it was no issue to stay inside for longer periods because the flat is so nice. We can fully recommend Virgina's flat and hospitality.

What a beautiful place! One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed in hands down! Margarida was very attentive and responsive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in the historical centre of Guimarães. You will feel right at home here and the amenities are excellent. There are many things to do in the locality, if you are a fan of French patisserie’s then you have one literally across the road! If you are a vegan lover then you have daTerra Guimarães which is within walking distance. A real old world charm city and this apartment really is comfortable and relaxing after a long day of traipsing around the cute cobbled streets exploring the castle, palace, churches and many shrines dotted around this beautiful city. If you are a cyclist like myself there is an amazing bike lane which is in an old railway line that goes from Guimarães to Fafe. Absolutely sublime! Also take a visit to the Penha!

We stayed 4 nights in Elisa's lovely apartment, using it as a base for day trips each day in a different direction. It's a nice space to spend time in, and we really enjoyed the amount of light and private, peaceful view in the mornings when we woke up and had breakfast. The location is great in general, very easy to walk to restaurants or take a stroll around central Braga. Elisa was very responsive and helpful at all times. We had a car, and were able to get by using on-street parking. The spots were paid parking, but it's free from 7pm-9am (and Sundays), and we were gone most of the day, so we only ended up having to pay for a few hours each day, at about a Euro an hour, and were able to pay via an app (EasyPark), which made it simple to extend the time as needed.

We had a FANTASTIC stay. Unit is AMAZING, location is MORE that FANTASTIC. Value for money? ABSOLUTELY. It was the cheapest of all our stays, and by far the BEST. We were so lucky to surprisingly arrive on the day the BRAGA ROMANA 5 day festival started, and it just made our holiday! By far the best part of holiday. Braga is fantastic. Bom Jesus was also an highlight. Tx very much Adriana. Soooo glad we found your place!

Triumphant Ability and Co-Host Maria were great with the instructions. The flat itself is super cozy and well located. It’s right in the middle of the historic centre of of the city and there lots of things to do in the surroundings. Everything can be reached by walking. The furniture made all the difference as the flat offers everything for a nice stay. And I really enjoyed the lovely touch of leaving us some coffee, which I had every morning while staying in there. I definitely recommend it!

The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and bright; well ventilated and has a lot of features. Ideal for 4 or 5 people. The owner is very friendly and approachable. They help us when we need it. The place is nice and quiet.

The artist's house! Marcelo shares his home in the most classic Airbnb style. An apartment located in an ideal area for me: in a very quiet residential neighborhood, a walk (15-20 minutes) from the center, easy to park (we always find a place in front of the door of the house) and next to one of the main roads of the city if you want to drive to Porto, Bom Jesus do Monte or go out to Peneda-Gerês. We can say that he is a very attentive and considerate man: considerate, because although you share the apartment with him, you are barely aware of it, because he strives to adapt to respect your times and your space (although we recommend sitting down to talk to him: it is worth knowing him); attentive, because from your arrival he worries that everything is to your liking and gives you recommendations on what to do or how to move. Very good experience. Recommended

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was very much as described, and a very comfortable place. It's perhaps a little shabbier than the photos show - this often happens at AirBnBs, as all of these short-term stays are hard on places - but not so much as to be a particular concern. I will add that it was also quieter than we anticipated. While it's on the corner of a busy street, there wasn't much noise at all. Overall, this one is definitely "two thumbs up" if you need to stay in the historic center of Braga.

again, an amazing stay in Marta‘s flat. we have been hosted by Marta the second consecutive year. marvellous treatment and magnificant flat. great size for three guys, interessted in golf and good food.

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

The apartment was fantastic, with a welcoming host and a convenient location—especially for those exploring Braga by car. However, we found it a bit uncomfortable that it was a private residence with all the host's belongings still there. Additionally, the requirement to pay 30 Euros for using the air conditioning or washing machine felt a bit high.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!
