We rarely use the word “spotless,” but this apartment truly was—it was absolutely clean. The building is newly renovated to a high standard, and everything inside feels brand-new. The location is fantastic: you can walk to a large shopping mall, the historic city center, and just about anything else you might need. An extra perk is the lovely café right across the street, serving excellent coffee and fresh pastries—perfect for breakfast or an afternoon break. Braga itself is a great base for day trips: Porto is an easy drive, and the stunning Peneda-Gerês National Park is also within reach. We loved our stay, would definitely come back, and highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Braga.

Very good apartment. Careful, clean and in excellent condition. Everything works. Well-equipped kitchen. We stayed in 4 people and it was great! There is a free parking nearby, which makes it easy for those who are by car. The contact with the hostess was also easy and she was kind to suggest some tours for our first time in Braga. I thank and recommend it.

Alice has been very attentive at all times, she answered very quickly and gave us the exact directions at all times about the house and the surroundings. We had a very comfortable weekend with a perfect location

Very well located accommodation: close to the city center (5/7 min walk), and quiet despite the ground floor. The place was great for two people or two people with children as it is spacious. The hosts had left us laundry detergent, dishware, toilet paper accordingly so ideal. The only point is that we have to keep in mind that we are on a ground floor unit overlooking the street, so the shutters were often closed if not opposite people passing through the street. Which makes the space a little dark. I recommend it!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was absolutely lovely – clean, well-kept, and beautifully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was neat and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would definitely love to stay again. Highly recommended!

Great apartment. A little hard to locate at first - but it is an apartment building and ones you get the direction from the host it's become easy. Apartment is clean and following street it's on will lead you right to the center plaza. On small complaint - cooler water in shower, may be needs to be readjusted...otherwise Great 3 bedroom, Elevator works, car parking underground, walk to the center = life is good :)!!!

The house has great conditions, very comfortable, it is well located, has a supermecado just ahead, some parks with large gardens close by, good for those who like to walk. The only thing I liked the least was the fact that there were no percianas, only curtains and in the morning amid immense natural light

The location was great, almost everything is within a short walk. It is just a couple of minutes from the bus station and close to the Praça da Republica and the downtown area. There is a small grocery store (Mini Preço) downstairs and a larger one (Pingo Doce) a few minutes away at Braga Shopping. The apartment was well equipped and had fast Internet; I was able to work from there without issue. Except for the church bells going off four times an hour from 7:00 to 22:00, it was quiet.

Very nice and spacious studio for 3 people. Functional, well located and ideal with several parking spaces for the accommodation. Nice stop over 2 days for our stay in Portugal.

It fully matched my expectations, and the place is exactly as it appears in the photos. The house has the necessary and essential amenities and appliances. The area is calm and quiet and is close to the heart of the city. The stay was very enjoyable.

A very beautiful place in a breathtaking natural landscape. I stayed for 6 weeks and felt welcome 24/7. Heidi was always there for me. My dog ​​was also happy in the garden and although I'm not the whirlpool type, I used it a few times and found it very pleasant.

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and responsive. We had a delightful wine tasting. They set up a taxi to take us to town and told us where to have dinner. The small village was extremely charming, we had a great dinner and our taxi driver was waiting to take us back after. The room and property were top notch. the only minor issue we had and it may be our fault, is we were further away from the Douro Valley than we thought. The directions were correct, but I missed my turn into the property, it isnt much of a road and it sneaks up on you. It would be challenging to find at night. But in the end, we were extremely pleased with our experience and very glad we stayed. We would wholeheartedly recommend it!!

This was our second time staying here. We were here in July 2023 and October 2023. Location was fantastic, close to tourist attactions and local restaurants. Isa was great! She was quick to respond to any inquiries and also checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Will definitely book again when in Portugal.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!
