Half-timbered house

Our charming half-timbered house has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen with sitting area and a living room. On the first floor there is a bedroom and the bathroom. Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 2nd floor the living room with access to the kitchen. Another flight of stairs in the living room leads you to the open gallery as a second sleeping area. Please note that the cottage is not childproof due to the many stairs! Our basement has space for bicycles.

The house on the outskirts invites you to a quiet and relaxing holiday. Directly at the (100 m) house is the Edersee cycling path. The Waldecker Land offers many hiking and cycling trails. We are located between Edersee, Diemelsee and Twistesee, they can be reached by car in 25 minutes. They invite you to sail, dive, water ski or just swim. There is also much to discover in Kellerwald National Park. The towns of Willingen and Winterberg are about 35 minutes away.

Rent our approx. 50 m² basement apartment with separate entrance, shared garden & 2 lockable rooms. The entrance room is equipped with a double bed, chest of drawers, 1 armchair & TV. The hallway leads to the lockable kitchen-living room with fully equipped kitchen (oven, induction range, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, Senseo, sofa bed for 2 people, table with 4 chairs. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub. The apartment is in a 2-family house with 3 cats.

Vacation home “alte Feuerwehr“

You are in a historic fire station right on the creek. You can sleep in the former hose tower in a 1.60 m wide box spring bed. This sleeping area is separated from the living room by free beams. You can book an additional bedroom. The photos are included. Among other things, there is a 1.80-meter-wide double bed. One floor down, on the first floor, is the bathroom with window, shower, natural stone sink and toilet. There is also a fully equipped kitchen.

Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a little time out or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

Stand-up paddle and bicycle can be rented on site at an extra cost and deposit.
