More than just a beautiful place This place is part of Remote Republic. The idea is simple: we rent out beautiful places – and use the income to enable social organisations to use places like these free of charge. Your booking here helps support our Schiffmühle location, where the boathouse and the grounds along the Alte Oder river are regularly open to social groups at no cost. This 61 m² garden apartment offers space to arrive and breathe. It sits quietly and close to nature in Wandlitz, about a 5-minute walk from Lake Wandlitz, with a separate entrance and its own terrace. Swimming spot just around the corner: only 300 m away is a free bathing spot on Lake Wandlitz — steps lead into the lake right in the woods, and dogs are allowed in the water too. The apartment is intentionally designed for a maximum of two adults – not a family setup, but a place for retreat, focused work, or relaxed days out in nature. We place particular value on sustainability: the apartment runs on climate-friendly heating, modern boiler/heat-pump technology, and a solar system – for a good feeling throughout your stay.

The trailer is reduced to the essentials. There's electricity in the trailer. Equipped outdoor kitchen with gas stove, stone oven, water point and toilet, outdoor shower and fire bowl. Our apartment in the converted barn is made for everyone, whether with children, as a couple or alone. With us, you can discover wonderful nature and Zermützel is surrounded by hiking trails, lakes and historic towns. The apartment is new and fully equipped. The large lime trees offer shade and on weekends you can enjoy a piece of homemade cake in the in-house café. Even after a cooler day in the forest, you can make yourself comfortable by the fireplace.
