For your excursions between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, you have a nice starting point here. Flensburg, Schleswig and Kiel are quickly accessible by public transport or car. The train station is about 10 minutes away on foot.

The Selker Noor with its own swimming area is only 3.4 km away, and the Viking village of Haitabu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also very close, as are Gottorf Castle, Schleswig Cathedral and the harbor.
