Guesthouse holiday rentals in Guadalupe County

This was by far the most unique AIRBNB I have ever stayed in. Every corner you turned there was something new and exciting to check out and the other people staying in other tiny homes on the 40 acre property were very friendly. The owner Brad (Darby) was a super interesting and passionate guy about his creations and the property as a whole. Angie who helped around the property and was currently building some new tiny homes was an absolute delight. She was so passionate about everything and even gave us a tour and went canoeing with us. So much to see and explore and you won’t leave being bored! The tiny homes we stayed in were good enough size for 2 people and 2 dogs - they are conveniently close together. A true must see/visit experience. Very accommodating for the last minute check in and we will definitely be back!

Lovely "studio", small kitchen, sitting area and two big comfy beds. Pool and patio definitely the highlight. Quiet and peaceful. Rose was helpful and friendly (on site) but not intrusive.

Barbara and Reid were amazing hosts! I love how inviting and helpful they were! They met us in the morning to have a quick chat! The guesthouse was a perfect size for my two friends and I. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and they even supplied us with some ice for our cooler. Thank yall so much for everything the stay was beautiful!

Vicki's place was amazing. It was beautiful and clean and quiet. So many details and thoughtful amenities. Beautiful shower and soaking tub and comfy bed. Her and cohosts were so sweet and able to accommodate me last minute which was much needed. Thank you guys so much

Our stay was awesome and a great getaway. The location is quiet and off the main drag of Gruene. The hosts were great as well. We liked how peaceful it was and close enough to town to do all the things we planned. Will definitely be back.

My mom and I stayed here for her birthday trip and it was just perfect. When we drove up and saw the house, we both instantly smiled. Such a neat place. The inside is decorated so nicely and we loved sitting outside on the upstairs patio. The view was beautiful. Clayton was a great host - made sure we made it okay and checked to see if we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this sweet little house!

What a gorgeous property! I was also hooked when I learned it is a rescue for animals as well! It was a quiet and peaceful stay for my husband and me. Only complaint I have is that it is a bit of a drive to any activities, which is more on my part for not paying attention when booking. Overall, awesome stay! Will definitely book again.

I have stayed at this Airbnb a few times and have loved it each time. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of unique knickknacks and a piano. The bathroom and little kitchenette are nicely fitted with needed amenities. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying here again the next time I am in the area.

Tiffani was a great host! We arrived pretty late, and the self check in instructions were great! We were able to say hi to her the day after, and she was really friendly. Thanks for an amazing stay!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It’s very well kept, cozy, clean with comfortable furniture and a big shower with great water pressure. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and easy to communicate with. My favorite pastime was to sit by the fire pit under the oak trees and watch the hens and deer at dusk. Beautiful property. It’s perfect for couples or solo travelers. I highly recommend.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was absolutely exceptional. It was peaceful and private and matched its description. The host was always responsive and flexible with check-in and checkout times. We will definitely be back.

Cozy little separate space on a larger home with private entry. Small sitting area with tv, small table for dining, dorm fridge, microwave and keurig. Separate bathroom and separate bedroom. Additional tv and wall mounted fireplace in bedroom. Quiet area just steps from a little park along the river. Was there for a holiday weekend and while it was busy, it wasn’t ever loud/noisy. Host is very responsive. Door is easy to unlock with provided directions. Felt safe and secure as a woman traveling alone.

I stayed a month here and it was absolutely amazing. T was an amazing host. Responsive and very nice. Showed great hospitality. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It may be a good idea to make sure that it is stated that it is a shared space with another unit. Was surprised when my husband and I, expecting some privacy and time away, was met with many people in the driveway and deck upon arrival. Went to the dock and half the other guests followed us. Very little privacy

The spot was the perfect weekend getaway for a girls trip. It felt like its own little place in the country, and we saw a ton of deer and baby deer. It was close to historic Gruene downtown and we had the most lovely time

This cottage was so perfect. I had a day off while there and ended up not leaving until dinner time. I was able to relax and use the amenities as they were curated. I even took a nap in the middle of the day. It was so relaxing and the cottage appears to be removed from the hustle and bustle of everything but all that you need is nearby. They provide great snacks and beverages and HEB is very close by. The amenities are top tier. The waterfall shower was my favorite part. I’ve always wanted to do a solo remote getaway but a little nervous about the remote part but this cottage gives that feel but it’s not remote. And there’s plenty of space. Truly a luxury experience and perfect for a solo trip or a couples getaway. I will be returning. Cudos to the host!

Brittany is a wonderful host, and her place is lovely. Each unit is perfect for one or two people. It feels secluded and private, but it’s a short drive from downtown Gruene with so many excellent restaurants and live music. Brittany was also super responsive and helpful as we were booking our stay. One of the best airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! I’m recommending her place to friends and family who come to the area.

This cabin was so cute, pet friendly, and great location. Peaceful country feel yet so close to town.

We have stayed at this location various times and it is always a pleasant experience. The house is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The living room is spacious and the kitchen has the perfect set up. The host is very professional and polite. The property also has various wildlife which my son enjoyed. We also enjoyed the train pass by which is not a nuisance. Perfect locatiion situated very close to gruene with restaurants and stores close by. Also the access to the river is a peaceful experience. We will most definitely stay here again
