Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Great cycling and hiking trails surrounded by meadows, forests and streams. The Vogelsberg is also not too far away. Summer toboggan run, climbing forest, winter sports and much more…

Burg Gemünden is a former 13th-century castle that was converted for residential purposes during the Baroque period. The manor house offers 6 spacious bedrooms with space for up to 6 families and groups of up to 12 adults. It can accommodate 20 people in 5 double beds with good mattresses. The building also offers spacious common areas. 1 large living and dining room with an open fireplace. 1 small lounge. 1 large kitchen, library, 1 sauna, 1 hot tub (additional €150 to use).

Nearby are the Schlosspark Rauischholzhausen and the historic university town of Marburg (12 km). For maximum flexibility, a car is recommended. A charging station for electric cars (11 kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee). The overnight price is including final cleaning.

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals.
