Both parks are rich in hiking and biking routes, and within walking distance you can enjoy a swimming pond with white beaches, and various fishing spots. 'The Duke' golf course is just around the corner, where there is also a lovely walking path.

The cities of Kleve and Emmerich with a very nice Rhine promenade are very easy to reach on foot in 1 hour or by bike in 0.5 hours.
