We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

Trudi’s Terrace lies a steep 250m walk up from the taxi drop- off point. We welcome guests from all around the world to experience the enigma that is the Matterhorn. Trudi’s Terrace has three cosy, comfortable, and stylish bedrooms. We have 2 modern bathrooms. Our kitchen is the heart of our apartment. It’s where we gather to cook, eat and watch Netflix. Note Zermatt is in the middle of a building boom. Unfortunately the view has been temporarily altered with the erection of a crane.

Located on the side of the valley above the village, south facing it offers great views with plenty of natural sunlight The ground floor apartment has 1 large bedroom, an equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave. Here we put special attention on the quality of sleep, thanks to our supplier of healthy sleeping systems. Then you will have a large living-dining room with sofa bed, 2bathrooms, TV and fireplace. The house is located about 300m from the train station.
