Greetsiel Island House Westwind

The lovingly furnished "Greetsieler Inselhuus"of the Römer family offers an excellent location in the romantic fishing village of Greetsiel. Quietly located and in the immediate vicinity of the dike, you can enjoy your vacation here and forget about the everyday stress. The holiday apartment "Westwind"is located on the upper floor of the house and can accommodate up to 3 people. The special HIghlight of the apartment is the beautiful view of the dike that you can enjoy from the Bakon. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen in the country house style and offers everything you need for cooking and eating together. To relax, you can retreat to the living room with the adjacent balcony. The living room has a separate dining area and a cozy sofa corner with satellite TV, DVD player , IPod docking station and stereo with CD player and radio . There are 2 bedrooms in the apartment, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. Both bedrooms can be completely darkened. The bright bathroom offers a shower, hair dryer and cosmetic mirror. In addition, there is a small storage room with a washing machine, which can be used for a fee. The car can be parked directly at the house and bicycles can also be safely parked and charged in the garden hut. The house offers a great starting point to explore Greetsiel; the dike, harbor, adventure playground and the oasis are all within walking distance. Upkammer

The duplex apartment has a north / east-facing living room on the ground floor with a view of the driveway and the surrounding fields. Bedrooms, a shower room and an additional toilet are located upstairs, where grain used to be stored. Four large block-frame sliding windows, which correspond as much as possible to their historical model, let a lot of light (and also air) into the living room. A fireplace in the almost 175-year-old stove niche provides comfort.

The granary in Pilsumer Hof

In the enchanting Warfendorf Pilsum, about five minutes from the Pilsum lighthouse, is the apartment Kornboden in the Pilsumer farm. The building dates back to 1551 and is considered one of the oldest buildings in Pilsum. Directly in Pilsum there is a restaurant and café, approx. 2 minutes' walk. A small village shop is also located about 2 minutes' walk. Here you can buy rolls and other items. The harbor town of Greetsiel is just under 5 minutes away.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.
