Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

After a two year endeavor hand building, with love and passion, this unique cottage up in the trees, I am thrilled to welcome you to a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The idea was to create an experience of being up in the trees and close to nature. Building a space small enough that it immediately becomes your own yet comfortably spacious, open and filled with light. A place to relax with all the amenities and still be immersed in the beauty of the mountain woods.

Starlight Chalet private hot-tub

No matter what brings you to the mountains, this cozy chalet is the perfect stay! Kitchen is lightly stocked, complete with coffee bar, spices, ceramic cookware, pans, or grill on the private patio. Relax in the hot-tub or by the fire-pit, before nestling in for a good, peaceful rest. Brevard is a short 10 min drive; unique shops, art galleries, dining. DuPont, Caesars Head, Pretty Place, Pisgah National, Gorges Parks only 10-30min. Pet-friendly, gated patio and deck. Wide, level parking area.
