Holiday rentals with lake access in Greatstone

Tim was a super and very responsive host. The property is nicely furnished and centrally located. The only point I would make is that if you have toddlers / small children, you should be aware that the front door is right next to a busy road (with only about 1 metre of pavement) so attention is needed when accessing the property. Inside, the stairs to the bedrooms are rather steep, so your children should be clearly told that they are not for playing on! Thanks a lot Tim for a nice stay.

Lovely chalet, peaceful and more than happy

We stayed over the bank holiday weekend as a family of 3 and throughly enjoyed staying at Herons Nest! Jill’s communication prior to our booking was brilliant and extremely helpful. The caravan had everything we needed for our stay, including some complimentary snacks & drinks! We enjoyed playing with the selection of games and our son did lots of colouring in. Romney Park offers many activities for children and the evening entertainment was brilliant. We would highly recommend Heron’s Nest and hope to stay in the future. Thanks again to Jill & Geoff! Paul’s place is very well equipped, clean, and comfortable, and on a main road a short walk from Canterbury West station and the city centre. The garden backs onto the river, and there is a very attractive river walk. We would definitely stay there again.

Was very clean and modern mutual interior. This was my mums dream home perfect size for the 4 of us. The communication was very speedy.

We had a lovely stay at Jack and Claire's. One of the best places I've stayed at for a while! The accommodation was well maintained (newly redecorated) and we couldn't have been happier with the cleanliness. The site was a great holiday park with a good vibe, tidy and also clearly well looked after. The location of the site, as well as the chalet within the site, was perfect. Jack and Claire were very helpful, and we would absolutely love to visit again.

Amazing location just behind a sand dune off amber beach. Perfect place to stay with kids, lots of games and activities if it’s raining and the beach for when it’s not! Great and clean facilities - everything you could need for an escape to the seaside!

We had a comfortable stay at Claudia's apartment. It is a brand new development. Communication with Claudia was good with quick responses. We had a minor issue upon arrival which was solved fairly quickly following a call with Claudia. Also, the check in instructions could be a little clearer for which we have provided feedback so this should be better for anyone staying after us!

Absolutely lovely stay, very clear and exactly how it looked in the pictures, very close to everything, within walking distance. Very friendly host and great communication! Thank you Joy will definitely stay again in the future

It was our first time staying in a chalet and we loved it, the retro decor was great, we would certainly stay again, my only whinge is that there was no Ironing board, but no real hardship, all in all we had a fantastic stay

Perfect weekend get away with my partner who was visiting from Australia. Leeds castle and Hever castle within visiting distance.

Fantastic location for a perfect seaside holiday stay. Simone was a fantastic host who provided multiple instructions and the amenities in the property were exactly what we needed for our weekend away.

The apartment was perfect, not only for its location but the amenities made it feel extra luxurious and elevated, it was also very well equipped; the bath robes were a very nice touch and the bed was unbelievably comfortable . Robbie was extremely friendly and attentive host, very hospitable and easy to get a hold of. The jacuzzi bath and massage chair made this the perfect stay. Can’t wait to visit again, would highly recommend!

If anyone fancy a lovely place by the lake and the seaside without feeling being away from home this is the place for it everything was perfect definitely recommend it and definitely will comeback one day, thank you Kaz for the experience ☺️🙌

Our family had a wonderful few days at the gorgeous Oast House property. Stunning setting with views across the fields. Local walks were great and maps available, along with local attractions all close by. Heather prepared an amazing meal for us which was well worth the money and the property had everything we needed for a peaceful and enjoyable few days away from the big smoke. The guest book in the property says it all about what a fantastic place this is. Highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Great cottage, very spacious, very clean, comfy furniture. Nice touches such as tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing up sponges and lots of toilet rolls. Jo was super easy to communicate with and gave us lots of recommendations for activities for our toddler in advance which was very useful.

Absolutely lovely cottage. In town for a family wedding this was perfect. If looking for charm and a great location to go places in Kent from this is perfect. Richard was a great host, friendly and leaving us plenty of information on how things work. The location is great for those who enjoy the countryside. Take a walk on the local footpaths, enjoy the soothing flow of the nearby river. Thank you Richard.

Lovely accomodation! Although we were only able to stay for a short while, we still had a lovely time. We thoroughly enjoyed the woodland walk (and so did our two chihuahuas). The property was immaculate too. Thank you!

Georgia's a great host. Her property was very clean and cosy inside and looked great! Not much to do around the area food wise but the lovely property beats that! Would recommend to anyone

Henrietta’s cottage is definitely a hidden gem. We spent a weekend in this unique cottage and everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery. You wake up to the bids chirping, and the whole place is so peaceful. We spent our days just chilling under the trees, lakeside and it was the best place to forget the big city. The cottage was clean, the bed comfy. We visited the castle gardens nearby and also walked to the next village, where is a lovely pub, The Milk House. We had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather.

Perfect location for our weekend in Eastbourne. Lovely house: clean & homely. Lovely courtyard garden in which to relax in the sun. Plenty of on-street parking (free). Tesco Express & Co-op on the doorstep, plus lots of little local shops/takeaways, cafes etc. 20 min walk into Eastbourne town centre. Just lovely. If we come to Eastbourne again, we’ll certainly re-book.

From start to finish the parlour was perfect, the host (Sam) was very helpful and friendly and made the whole process so easy. The cottage was in amazing condition and stocked with everything you would need. We had an idea of what we wanted to see/do in the area but we were also sent some great recommendations that we hadn’t thought of. Would definitely recommend a stay here, the accommodation was amazing and the area was beautiful.
