Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Great Smoky Mountains

We were looking for a spacious, affordable, decent option to stay close to the parkway, and boy did we find it! The apartment far exceeded our expectations. First—this must be a new construction because it was so clean and damage free both inside and out. Did I mention how clean it was? Second—it was plenty spacious for our two families. The bunk room and nice-sized bathrooms were very accommodating for our group. The large kitchen and living/dining area provided us with great space for hanging out. Third—we were just a block or so off the parkway so everything was a short drive away. The nice fire pit area in the back provided a quaint, relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a long travel day. The bonus was that the cost per night was comparable to a nice hotel room and we’d need two hotel rooms to accommodate group. The host was also very attentive and responsive. 10/10 recommend!

If you’re looking for a private peaceful place to relax, this is definitely it! The drive up the hill to get there is steep and windy and the road is narrow, so be careful when navigating, especially in the dark. (Use Apple Maps to get to the cabin, Ryan warned us that Google maps takes you to a different dead end.) The cabin is cozy and looks just like the pictures, and the views from the balcony are stunning! The rocking chairs are a great touch for a relaxing quiet time! Ryan was really responsive to any questions I had.

A friend recommended and we are glad we choose this condo. Great location with quick access to all the attractions including Tanger Outlet Mall and Dollywood. Enjoyable stay. The pictures exactly matched the accommodations. Easy access for loading/unloading with no stairs. Very clean and comfortable. Well-equipped Kitchen. Kids loved the bridge/creek in the backyard and the pool/splash pad that was close across the driveway parking area. Worked well for our family with young kids. A little noisy at night as with young kids we go to sleep early, but activating sleep sounds on phones resolved this issue. Hostess is very responsive. Plan to stay again when we are in the area. Definitely recommended.

We stayed at Lynn’s place for a few days while visiting family nearby. We appreciated the clear instructions and easy check-in. The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable- we were able to find everything we needed with ease. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make this place special (we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom). Lynn was very friendly and accommodating and provided a comfy high chair for our 10 month old baby. Thank you!

This is a great spot for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. The space was big enough to spread out a little bit. The view from the deck is great as well. If you don't mind being 30 minutes away, this is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville. It's about an hour from Looking Glass Falls too. It's also a beautiful drive to the Tail of the Dragon from here. If you're coming from Raleigh this makes for a much shorter drive home after spending a day driving near the Dragon.

The place was very cozy and clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful especially at night. The host was very friendly and quick with responding back. Definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again!

Just finished our 3 night stay. Absolutely loved the place! All around beautiful. Based off other reviews: we didn’t have any issues with the bed being uncomfortable, there were plenty of towels/dish soap/etc., also didn’t have an issue with thin walls. Only thing I would note that we haven’t seen in the reviews is the drive. If you’re not familiar with mountain type roads it can be intimidating/uncomfortable, but nothing to serious. Just take the roads slow and make sure you have it plugged in maps because you may miss a turn or two in the dark (guilty😅). It was about a 20 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg and about a 25 min drive to Smokey’s depending on Gatlinburg traffic and hike location. Which we appreciated. Thank you Kyle!

Beautiful home setting and such a wonderful location, far enough from the maddening crowd. Our family had a wonderfully relaxing and fun time. This one is definitely a fave! Also, very thankful for their prompt responses when there were a couple of hiccups. Thank you Abe & Kate🙏

Carol’s place is lovely, in a beautiful location conveniently located about 10 minutes from the Folk School where we were taking classes. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Very clean place with comfortable beds, would stay again!

I can’t say enough about the property , it’s secluded but not to far out , my grandchildren loved it , plenty to keep them busy outside, the trails go everywhere and are safe , Their is even a suspension walkway / bridge over a creek , we fed the fish every day and had s’mores over the campfire , the house is perfect for a large family .it has everything you would need ,it appeared to be newly decorated with all new appliances, the home was very clean and ready when we arrived , We sat out on the wrap around porch at night and just listened to the sounds of the forest , the landscaping is amazing, i highly recommend this property , we would definitely return to this property , Tim

What a wonderful and peaceful stay! We visit the area often and are so glad to have found a spot that is close to Asheville, but without the hustle and bustle of downtown/West Asheville. This spot is absolutely perfect and we will definitely be back! The farm animals and lush grass are such a nice bonus. This was a great spot for a family stay. We especially loved the massive closet in the master bedroom, as it was a great spot to put our kiddo’s travel bed.

Wow, beautiful, large, classic home and all on one floor. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and even with a large crew everyone had privacy. The land was beautiful and plentiful. We were not that far from the main road yet it seemed miles away. Shopping literally at the end of the driveway. Mountain views were wonderful. Landscaping around the house was beautiful as well. I have to call out specifically the stove in the kitchen, we were there during Thanksgiving and hosted a family get together and we were able to prepare everything successfully and with ease. The icing on the cake was the ability to bring our dogs, they loved the yard and our whole family had a wonderful, relaxing week at Owls Haven.

My boyfriend, pup and I and needed a place to stay for the weekend at the last minute and Samantha was so accommodating with our very last minute request! The man cave was so comfortable and cozy and we felt right at home. The place is well-stocked and had everything we needed. The immediate area is very quiet and peaceful, but it's close to everything - 30 minutes from a beautiful lake and recreation area and there are lots of good restaurants around. I appreciated having a fenced in yard for my pup and he loved sniffing around the nice space. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again when visiting the area!

Everything was so amazing. Our host was so nice and super helpful when we had an issue. Even provided some extra snacks and hot chocolate to help with our stay. Can’t express how much Judy helped make our stay so much easier and stress free 10/10. Cannot recommend this place enough to everyone. It’s near enough to everything to be a quick trip most places but also far enough off the main strip that you have the peace and quiet.

Excellent customer service. The view from the hot tub overlooks the river and it was a magical experience while snowing! Very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked all our meals there.

Traci was very prompt when answering my messages. The place was a great size for our party and the grounds are beautiful with swings, benches and a walking path all around.

This condo was an absolute DREAM. It started with excellent communication ahead of the reservation and then on the day of check in we were advised the condo was ready 2 hours early and we were invited to check in - amazing! The condo itself was spectacular. Everything was gorgeous and up to date. It was immaculately clean and it was exactly as pictured in the listing -- only SO MUCH CUTER. There was tons of room in the master suite, lots of comfy seating, extra large patio and an amazing view of the little river. It is absolute PERFECTION. There were only a few quirks that I will point out - one is that being on a river there are a billion ducks and geese. Now, I loved it because I love animals -- BUT they are L.O.U.D. So if you are not a good sleeper you may want to go elsewhere. I thought it was charming so it didn't bother me. The other quirk is the handle on the front door has to be lifted UP not down as normally expected so that was a little tricky at first but not a big deal.

This location was very convenient for walking around downtown Gatlinburg. It saved us money on parking and was close to all the major attractions. The area was also very clean and quiet. A big thank you to Laurie for the thoughtful gift! This was our first time receiving a gift during an Airbnb stay, and it was truly appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay!! The tub was my favorite feature inside our bedroom. This place had Beautiful surroundings and a Very clean home! My husband was mostly excited that we were right across the street from the golf Course. We will be staying here again!
