Great place, really nice to stay at. Comfy beds and lovely touches with the crumpets jam, teas and coffee. Well decorated and nice outside space out the back too. We had a good time. Only points would have been nice to have an armchair in the front room as there was 4 of us. There was some parts that needed a bit of a clean and a few spider webs in corners etc but didn’t affect our stay.

We had a wonderful stay! the property had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable beds in clean, lovely bedrooms. Great kitchen and bathrooms... and of course the games cupboard! thank you!

We have stayed a few times and would stay again. Home from home, beautiful house and Fiona is very friendly and helpful.

Lynley and Matt’s place accommodated a large family of 7, 2 children and 3 dogs perfectly! Lots of space, big spacious rooms, private and secure garden and big driveway! We came to stay due to a family funeral and wanting a hub to base ourselves but also accommodate seeing family and spending time together. The place is very well thought out, clean, spacious and perfect for a family get away. Lynley and Matt are super responsive hosts, really understanding of our situation and very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place!

Great stay. Friendly & helpful host. Lots of character in the house. The only down side for me ( but not the rest of the party )was the steps up from the car port to the house as I am a little unsteady on my legs. But other than that a great place. Lovely pub just down the road too

Wendy was a super friendly, helpful and responsive host from the moment I enquired about booking until the moment we checked out. Her place was exactly what you want from an Airbnb, a real home from home. It’s cosy and comfortable and stylish throughout and feels very spacious considering it’s a maisonette. It was well equipped and had everything we needed for a two night stay to visit friends nearby. We’d definitely stay here again if we were in the area and we’d recommend to anyone else. we had a lovely few days at Paul's place, perfectly place for us to visit my son and his new baby ....comfortable and homely. would recommend to anyone.

Lovely place to stay, my only comment would be no basics in the fridge! Travel all around UK using air BnBs for work and most have Milk, bread etc and sometimes even champagne/alcohol beverage. However that doesn’t change my opinion overall great place to stay. Nice quiet relaxing spot. Thanks again.

Enjoyed a fantastic break away with the family. The caravan was immaculate and felt very homely. The buckaroo game was a hit with our younger son. Not to mention the hot tub that everybody said made the trip ! The park itself however I would give a 3/5 I understand it was Easter weekend and there must have easily been over 3,000 people on site. The indoor pool is big enough to accommodate maybe 30 at a push ? We was told it gets booked sometimes up to 6 weeks in advance. We did manage to get into the outdoor pool though and although heated still didn't manage to stay for too long as it was just too cold. But we had to hot tub to come back to and warm up. The fishing wasn't the best either. The smaller rudd lake was always full of anglers since before 6am and the main fishing lake is incredibly weedy. Fished bain valley 5mins up the road instead. But as this review is for the caravan not the holiday park I would definitely give 5/5

Emma and the caravan was wonderful. We loved the fishing and the hot tub. Be prepared to purchase the £80 guest pass for the facilities as the only thing available without it is the fish and chip shop. Everything else is only accessible with the pass including the bars, pubs, playground and archade. Much of the activities were either booked up or not running. Book ahead would be my advise. We did manage to be squeezed in fir swimming and the pool was lovely. Thanks Emma. A lovely place I just needed to be better prepared for the caravan park facilities

5 Stars – A Relaxing and Thoughtful Stay! We had such a lovely 3-night stay at this lodge! The place was spotless on arrival—so clean and well-kept, which instantly made us feel comfortable and at home. One of the sweetest touches was the free welcome gift waiting for us—it really made us feel appreciated and set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a dream and a massive hit with the children. It was perfect for soaking under the stars in the peaceful surroundings. The lodge itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the quiet location, but it was also close enough to explore some great local spots. Everything was so easy, and Ruth clearly cares about their guests’ experience. Ruth messaged me and kept me updated with when the lodge was ready. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a clean, welcoming, and peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

We had a lovely weekend, the perfect location to explore Louth which is a beautiful and friendly town. Peaceful walks from the doorstep. Guy’s place is very comfortable and has everything we needed, we felt completely at home. Highly recommended, thank you Guy and Julie

I was just as happy with this, my second stay at Emma's bungalow, as my previous stay The bungalow is clean, tidy, cosy and very well equipped for self catering It is a perfect location for me to visit family in Derby and I really like Belper itself Emma is very easy to communicate with and very responsive - she quickly came to my rescue with an apparent problem I had with the cooker! (the cooker wasn't faulty btw!) I hope to be stay here again and am happy to recommend to others

Our stay at the Grooms Lodge was our second and we're so glad we booked in advance to secure our Easter vacation here. Julie is a wonderful host who contacted us prior to arrival to check our ETA and to make sure everything was ready for our stay. The accommodation has everything we could need ie fridge, oven, kettle etc. The shower room is well speckled and very clean. Once we were parked on the private driveway we felt safe and secure letting our dog play and wander around the garden. Seeing the horses in the fields helps us to feel relaxed. Plus the canal is very close to the property so we enjoyed many morning strolls before joining our family for Easter celebrations. We both feel completely rested after our stay at The Grroms Lodge. Debbie and Simon made the process of booking, checkng in and our stay really easy. Lovely peaceful location - we stayed for a family wedding and felt right at home for our couple of nights. Kitchen was particulalry well equipped with a good collection of the bits you forget to bring (e.g. tin foil, tea coffee milk etc.) Would recommend. Finally to clarify a couple of points from prior reviews: - plenty of hot water - heating (electric, plus a wood burner) worked fine.

Really nice place to stay if you are in Loughborough for a few days. A nice neighbourhood with close access to supermarket, coffee shops and a 30-40 minute walk to the town or University. Would wholly recommend!

An absolute BEAUT of a place to stay with everything required for an easy and pleasant few days away from home. I was staying for work reasons but it would also be a PERFECT romantic getaway spot - just lovely! And walking distance to the canal and lovely scenery too...

Everything about our stay was perfect. Communication with Paula was brilliant and we really appreciated her message asking how we were getting on during our stay. Everything we could have needed was provided. The cottage was so clean and comfortable and the outside area was beautiful. The location was lovely with great cycling routes nearby and we visited Mablethorpe Beach which was a short drive away. I cannot fault anything and would highly recommend staying here. We had a wonderful time and we will absolutely be visiting again!

We have just left from a lovely 2 night stay, it’s a beautiful quirky place. A great place for an adult weekend away! The decor is fantastic, the bar area and games room is brilliant, lovely area, relaxing garden and views! Hot tub was lovely! Cosy cinema room and lots of information on nearby places to visit etc! We was so lucky with the weather too which made it even better! But the place in general was just brilliant! We would definitely stay again! Daniel was quick as responding to any questions.
