We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of egg oil tempera adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 1800s. Nice tiled stoves heat nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are great conditions for cross-country and downhill skiing at Romme alpine. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with access approximately 100 metres from the farm. The house is located near the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Dala cottage with lake property

Welcome to our cozy cottage right by the water with sauna, fireplace and private jetty. Here you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere, magical lake views and fishing right outside the door. In winter, you can swim in the ice water from the jetty, and if the weather permits, ski tracks are run up on the lake. The surroundings consist of berry and mushroom forests with beautiful walking trails. In summer, you can take a trip on the rowing boat or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace. The cottage is only 15 minutes from Falun and 45 minutes from Romme Alpin.

Houses are rented in the scenic Grängshammar, Silvberg, Säter municipality, 18km from Borlänge. Located within the “Silverringen” which is a cultural-historical route through the history of silver and iron. Newly built and fresh house with 5 beds in secluded location. Close to swimming, fishing and forest. To Romme Alpin it takes about 15 minutes by car (13 km) from the south side (so you don't have to queue).
