Holiday rentals with lake access in Grand Haven

This house is BEAUTIFUL! We stayed for a long weekend when my daughter was graduating form Hope College. It was the perfect house for several family members to stay and connect - and yet there were lots of space for people to get some "alone time" if needed. It's right near (not on) the water, bike and running trails nearby - close to the beach... and qucik 10 minutes drive to downtown Holland. The hosts were excellent - great communication, clear instructions - I highly recommend this place as a TOP NOTCH place to stay with family!

We were 3 60+y.o. women, and what I'm about to say might not be a concern for anyone else. There were 3 lovely bedroom spaces and 2 nice bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and both bathrooms were on the main floor. The other 2 bedrooms, one was upstairs and the other downstairs. We had been under the impression the bathrooms would be more accessible to the other 2 bedrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Kitchen was well-equipped! And it was around the corner from our favorite breakfast joint Lakeside Cafe!

Everything was just as described. The house was clean and had all basic necessities plus more. The lot was beautiful, set back in the woods and very peaceful. Great place for a quiet getaway!

We really enjoyed our time at Mary's little cottage! The place was small but perfect for what we needed it for. It was also VERY clean, which I really appreciate when traveling. Also, the location was perfect. It was close to the water and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Haven. The location was perfect, because we could go back to someplace quiet and cozy, while also being near a buzy place like Grand Haven. I would recommend staying at Mary's cottage!

Lynelle's listing in Muskegon was a wonderful place for our family to spend a few nights! we have two young kids and we had ample space and they loved the house. Lynelle was very responsive and helpful! We will absolutely stay here again if we return to Muskegon!

This was a great stay, we felt right at home and it was a great location with a beach within walking distance. They had everything we needed there and were very responsive!

We had a wonderful three night stay at Malaya dunes. The home is perfect for a secluded retreat and comes with a great kitchen, outdoor space, and hot tub. It was well maintained and perfectly furnished and equipped for our stay. Walking distance to lakeshore beach (huge dunes, not for the faint of heart) and easy driving distance to saugatuck and more accessible beaches. Note: your gps will tell you to turn down a private road to get to the property. The driveway is in fact off directly off the main road right before this private road.

Absolutely amazing!! Great area right next to the river and bike path the hot tub was amazing every night and getting to all the cities near is perfect being centrally located

Excellent location. Unit is small and bathroom/toilet is a tight fit. Very clean on arrival and furnishings are nice.

My two girlfriends and I stayed here for two nights and it has the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan! We arrived later in the evening and were so thankful that our host left us with restaurant menus and recommendations, we loved the pizza. Place was clean and very well stocked with linens and even coffee and some water in the fridge. The beach is a steep staircase away (it was a bit rough, and my legs hurt, but it’s worth the trek). Also thank you sooo much for letting us use your beach chairs! We stayed on the beach from sunrise to sunset. It was magical and the views are to die for! Our only complaint would be the lack of communication that the host would be staying on site during the same weekend as us. The listing brags about a private beach and yet at one point the hosts wife appeared 15-20 feet sitting directly behind us reading a book. We felt like teenagers being watched by our mother. We decided to take a walk, and when we came back she was gone, but it was weird.

Loved the uniqueness of this property, which was both charming and comfortable. Beautiful grounds, great location that was walkable to shops, beach, lighthouse, eateries, etc. Would gladly stay again!

The location is excellent! Very walkable to town and Lake Michigan. The bed is on the firm side if you like that and bedroom is small. Netflix available was a plus.

This was by far the nicest Air B&B we’ve ever stayed in! Great value, very clean, nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area visiting family. Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay. The pontoon rental next door was also a hit with our granddaughters!

Had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to book again in the future. The room was very clean and cozy, the communication from Sally and Becky was great and they were very accommodating! When you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stay here!

This unit was very comfortable and very spacious. It really has everything you need - towels galore, pool and beach amenities (chairs,noodles,cooler,etc), cleaning products, extra mirrors, cords, kitchen stuff - even those toiletries that you might have forgotten. The beds and bedding were very comfortable which is always lovely on a vacation! Patricia was so easy to work with and always answered my questions quickly. The pool was nicely heated and clean. The beach was mostly deserted so I felt like it was my private beach! The walkway down to the beach is paved and renting the golf cart made it even more of an adventure to go up and down that hill! I plan to be back!

Joshua was an excellent host. He was very proactive with communication, provided clear instructions, and was always responsive. The location of this Airbnb is perfectly in the heart of Saugatuck so everything is close by and easily walkable. We loved this stay for a quick summer weekend getaway.

We absolutely loved the location of this adorable cottage right in town and so walkable to everywhere in Saugatuck. The views were great and the chairs on the patio looking out on the water were so relaxing. The bed was comfy and it had everything we needed. I also loved that they had cable, so we could relax for a bit before bed and not have to try to remember passwords to log into our streaming platforms.

Really well kept cottage, with everything you could need. Great place to stay to take day trips to surrounding attractions/towns. Also just super cute in general.

Our stay at Awesome Lake Michigan Cottage was great! The views and beach access were amazing. Note to others though, the steps down were steep and there were about 50 of them, so if you are limited in ability, take caution. The decks both provided amazing views though, if you just plan on staying up top. The inside was great. Comfortable bed (only stayed on the King) and everything was clean and tidy. The bathrooms were small and right next to each other, but we had no issues with them as there were only 2 of us. If you plan on making any meals, note that the kitchen was stocked with cooking pots and pans but there were no pantry staples other than a small salt and pepper shaker. The house was close to town while also feeling secluded as it is tucked in between Lake Michigan and a Dune preserve. Overall, our stay was amazing and we would highly recommend staying here!

The property had the lakeshore charm with an absolutely beautiful view! The beach was unbeatable, with soft sand and gorgeous sunsets. The cottage was clean and quaint, perfect for 3 or 4 people, and served our needs well. The cottages are a tad close together, which could potentially be loud if they are all full, but we had no problems with neighbors, noise, or traffic. We'd definitely stay here again to enjoy the beach in the summer.

Our last minute family weekend getaway was so much more than we imagined! Booked last minute for the weekend and WOW! As soon as we pulled in we could tell it was the perfect, private and beautiful place we were looking for! Upon entering the home, there was immediately a peaceful, positive, and relaxing feeling. I brought my own smudging sage yet there was already a cleansing "station " atop the rustic and gorgeous wood burning heater in the midst of this beautiful cabin. The board rope swing out front was enjoyed by every family member! The property is beautiful! We will definitely be back and will stay longer next time! I will most definitely take a bath in the clawfoot tub! The lake is a wonderful short stroll through the woods to a perfect spot for campfires, fishing, and kayaking. Our kids, 13, 8, and 5 enjoyed every bit of the weekend as well! We searched for the fairy house door on the old Beech tree with no luck this time. We're going to find it. 🥰

The cottage is clean, comfortable, and cozy! We found the outdoor area very peaceful to enjoy our morning coffee. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the essentials & quality cookware. Courtney was very responsive & great to work with! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful cottage- we will be back! We stayed with our 2 young children, and it was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was VERY clean. A washer and dryer in the unit were a huge bonus for us. Beach chairs, toys, and towels were provided, which reduced our packing. The public beach is just a walk across the street and was a perfect small beach. Mike was a great host!
