The Maastunnel will take you 10 minutes on bicycle to historic Delfshaven and 15 minutes to the city centre of Rotterdam. Take the Ferry to Katendrecht (6 minutes) and you will find yourself in the urban industrial part of the city with many restaurants & bars. You will be staying in the nature reserve and national monument ‘Vinetaduin’. Beneath these dunes lie about 70 bunkers that originate from four layers of military history of the 20th century. The telephone bunker lies in the northern part, near the villa district and entrance to the beach.

From "Hoek van Holland Haven" you can take the metro to the beach (1 stop, 2 min). The beach is about 2.5 km from the apartment.
