We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

we had a great week at Maria's place. The covered terrace is the most beautiful room in the house with a magnificent view of the sea. The beach is less than 5 minutes' walk away, but beware, for people who have difficulty walking, the slope is rather steep to climb. Maria is very responsive and responds very quickly to messages. Agia Pelagia remains a small seaside resort very well located to visit the North of the island. Beautiful discovery

Very very Beautiful Apartment and a Yard just for yourself to use and hang out. Perfekt for Couples or Families. There is also a small village with a little shop for some quick shopping. But in 30min you are in Heraklion and at beautiful beaches. Also Georgia is very kind and looks after you! Would def recommend and come back :)

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

What a special place! We loved this place. It was so cozy with nice, hot water, and comfy beds. The best part were the special touches .. a cup of washing machine liquid for washing a load of clothes, coffee and filters, bottled water, an iron, fans for each room and an extra blanket, small bottles of shampoo. Everything we needed was there. The restaurants were so good, and it was a joy to explore the area. Thank you, Eva!

We had a lovely time in Agia Pelagia staying at this accommodation. It is situated a 10-15 minute walk from the beach, mini markets and restaurants, the walk is a little steep on the way back but no problem if you take your time. There is a local mini market a few minutes walk away without needing to go down the hill. The accommodation itself was in great condition, very comfortable with everything you might need. The pool is a level down and used by (I think) 5 separate units. We had the entire place to ourselves the week we were there, which meant it was super relaxing. We had great sea views when we ate lunch in the garden and lounging by the pool. Would happily recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Agia Pelagia.

The place was a dream to be in. The house is in the first row to the beach and a little off the road, which means you have your peace and quiet and early after getting up the 30m to the sea to walk and first jump into the water is great. The sandy beach is clean and not overcrowded. The place was clean and lovingly furnished. You feel right at home and have everything you need. In the immediate vicinity (<5 minutes on foot) there are restaurants, a supermarket and much more. We were travelling by car in Crete, which made the accommodation the perfect starting point for our day trips. It was great that there was enough space for the car on the fenced area. The host Nick is friendly and very helpful. In short, there's really nothing to complain about.

beautiful very spacious apartment and beautiful view of the sea and the island opposite. The accommodation is well equipped and the owner thought of making the stay as pleasant as possible. there was nothing missing (toilet paper, cotton swabs, olive oil, sugar, coffee, rusks, jam and so on...). only downside: there is no washing machine but a dishwasher, I think it is a bad translation! in case of problems, the owner is very responsive and very quick. we loved our stay and for sure we will be back with great pleasure.

Apartment was great, spacious and really nice outdoor area. Never a problem finding parking across the street, which made the location very good. Close to grocery store and some good restaurants, recommend trying Kontra Flokos right down the street. Yiannis is a very friendly host and answers quickly any questions you might have. Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent experience! The house was spotless, comfortable and very welcoming. The location is quiet and ideal for relaxation, with absolute privacy. I would choose it again without a second thought!

We very much enjoyed staying in Manos' house. The facilities there are very good, including a lovely garden, plenty of cutlery and crockery and the house was clean with comfortable beds. Nearby in Gournes there is a set of very good small shops including a supermarket, a butcher and a baker where you can buy local produce. The house is close to the airport so quick to get to on arrival. There are good roads nearby so it is possible to explore the area with ease . We recommend visiting Knossos, and the Lathisi plateau.

Our host was great, she was very helpful and kind. Her primary goal was that we can relax and enjoy the holiday there. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Exactly as it was shown in the pictures. The sea is really in font of the house, also there is a sandy beach around 100 meters from the there. All the bedrooms are airconditioned, the living room and the dining area has a big fan. All windows have shades and mosquito nets. We really enjoyed our stay there.

WOW! This is one of the most unique Airbnb experiences I’ve had yet! As soon as I got there, the host showed me around the property and had some complimentary snacks and drinks waiting for me! He then kindly offered to drive me around the island to see it before it got dark, even going as far to take me to the big supermarket and wait for me while I bought some groceries - so incredibly generous and much appreciated as I didn’t rent a car!! The apartment itself is even better than the pictures - having two balconies on either side of the place to see the sunrise and sunset was a true pleasure! I also very much appreciated having AC during the hot heat, as well as the room darkening shades on all the balconies! The location is perfect too, just a 2 minute walk to a nice swimming beach and less than a 20 minute walk to some wonderful restaurants. Truly great place and even better hosts, highly recommend!!

Very quality accommodation, although one of the bathrooms is very small. Stella is a very good landlord and responds to everything right away and helpful. Well-equipped kitchen, air-conditioned rooms, unfortunately the mosquito net was missing from the upstairs. It's close to Heraklion, but the sound of airplanes is not disturbing. Overall, we had a great time, I recommend it to everyone.
