Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines. The cottage provides an ideal escape from everyday life and has direct access to the water.

Access is via a porch which also leads to our home.There’s a small shower room with a great shower. In the kitchen area, a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. TV, DVD and wifi. We welcome well behaved dogs. The stairs are Space saving so unsuitable for dogs, very young children or elderly people.
