Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located retreat. Located on a half acre. Recently completed a remodel; everything in this home is new. Bedroom one has a king-size bed. Bedroom two has a queen. The sofa sleeper is also a queen with a memory foam mattress. For the yoga enthusiast the side deck is the perfect space to get centered. The cottage is located in walking distance of Clearbrook Golf Course and just a short drive to Oval Beach or downtown Saugatuck.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They introduced themselves to us and we immediately felt welcome. The place was the perfect size for two people to share. The only thing is that every night we would find a bug in the room. Not a huge deal but just something to keep in mind when booking. It could also get a little noisy with the owners living downstairs but for the price it really isn’t a problem since they’re so nice. Overall it’s a great place to stay. They even picked us strawberries from their garden for us to eat/take home!

1BR Modern Apartment I Walk To Downtown Saugatuck

The apartment is just as described, with a very comfortable King size bed that looks out over a green space, adding privacy. The apartment is about a mile from downtown Saugatuk and we could have easily walked, but were only in town for 2 nights and 1 day, so ended up driving to maximize our time. The apartment is located above the host's garage with a separate entrance. The host was responsive (the key pad did not work upon arrival and she called straight back with the location of a key) and she gave us several great suggestions for restaurants (one within a very easy walk of the house). Please note, that since this apartment is above the garage, you will hear the garage door opening, but otherwise, it is very peaceful and quiet in a forested neighborhood. We had good wifi and could have worked remotely if we had more time. The apartment was spotless and there was clear communication about the check in and check out process. We would certainly stay here again! Thank you!

Great place walking distance to downtown! The kitchen was well stocked for us to prepare food. We didn’t have to spend time cleaning up and doing sheets / towels which made the price of paying for the condo worth it. Thanks Jill :)

The house is lovely-quaint log cabin with nicely updated kitchen and sparkly clean bathrooms! Wonderful porch with hot tub. The neighborhood is away from downtown which has its perks. The home is one of many duplicates in a cute “subdivision”. Neighboring houses in the association are very close to each other and give a nice community feel. The house is close to the main road so easy to find, but some traffic noise. Restrictive parking but clear directions from owners. Lovely large dining table, two living spaces and three ample bedrooms with clean linens and towels.

Melanie was a great host! Upon arrival, we walked into a clean house with a few complimentary creature comforts, which made us feel like honored guests. we also experienced severe t storms (tornados) and Melanie was proactive to share safety and community information. The house is perfect for larger groups, with bedroom options that give everyone privacy. We are so thankful for our stay!
