This was our second year staying at Don’s and it was great as always! Beautiful space, clean, updated, and well stocked kitchen/linens. Location to the beach can’t be beat and all the beach things you’d need are available for use. Don and Sue are both wonderful and we look forward to future stays.

We loved the place. I hesitate to give it too good a rating because that might make it harder for us to get a reservation in the future. It was just the two of us and we never left except once to buy groceries. The unimpeded panorama of sea, sand and sky 24/7 is unique to this property, which while being lovely and comfortable, seems to exist only to provide a front row seat to savor constant everchanging spectular of sea and sky. We were there in off season, and blessed with crazy good weather. But I am sure it is equally delightful whenever you are lucky enough to be there. Kudos to Aimee and her vision of in creating this treasure of a place. I LOVE that there is no porch railing. Never add one. THanks, Aimee.

We came here for a private getaway on our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The price was a bit much, but for such a special time I felt it was worth it at the time I booked, and worth it it certainly was. beautiful, quiet, serene, it was perfect for a getaway. I would absolutely recommend, and I already have, this stay. 10/10

This is our third time staying at Stacey's rental because we love it so much! It's the perfect size for our family and our friends to spend the weekend together. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and there is a ton to do just a short drive in any direction from the house. We look forward to our stay and are always sad to leave!

We spent the weekend here catching up with friends and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was cozy and welcoming from the moment we arrived, with beautiful views all around. We’re so thankful we got to stay and make the most of it. There’s so much to do nearby, and it’s just a quick drive to Portsmouth, NH, which has so many great places to explore. Rachel also shared some fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better.

Accomodations exactly as shown in pictures. Kitchen is definitely well equipped with all of the essentials and more. Ice cream shop right next door is great and The Lobster Pound on the other side is excellent. You can walk to shops and restaurants downtown but we had no problem finding parking in the evening so we could enjoy the awesome restaurants.

we can't say enough about lovely our stay was at this beautiful house in OOB. the house is so clean and bright. its within walking distance to restaurants and stores. its right across from the heated pool. it really is such a gem!

Very nice place, everything was clean and smelling good, we felt right at home! Comfortable beds except the single one which we could feel the springs. Expensive parking everywhere near the beach, be advised, but free parking at the house. Everyone at the place was friendly. The only thing mmissing would be coffee pods, for the rest, everything was there!

We had a wonderful stay- place was pristine and welcoming, looks exactly like the photos. Of course being closer to water is always great and can’t beat it for the price. Many OOB hotels leave much to be desired and are outrageously expensive for what you get. After some less than stellar experiences, to be somewhere clean, free of bugs and animals was a relief. Easy uber ride or trolley to boardwalk. Definitely would rent there again!

This was the perfect home base for exploring various parts of the Maine coast. Beds were comfy, and each room had a wall unit to make it the temperature you like. Our kids loved being upstairs in the 3 beds room and having their own space. WiFi worked great, and that was with 7 of us on it doing various things - adults working, kids streaming. Would definitely stay here again.

Susan was a truly wonderful host, so gracious, thoughtful and kind. Her home was perfect for my husband and 2 young boys. House was immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy, the 2nd floor rooms had plenty of space and my boys loved the bed nooks on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed the porch chairs at night. Beautiful beach was nearby, and Susan had all the beach items ready for us to enjoy. Lots of excellent dining options within a 5-10min drive and close to Ogunquit downtown. Susan left a book of local recommendations which included all the menus from local restaurants which we found helpful in deciding where to dine. Susan shared excellent recommendations on beaches and local activities and knows the area well. Location was perfect. We would love to come back, thank you so much Susan!

We had a wonderful time! Going during off season was very peaceful and quiet will definitely book again in the future!

It was exactly as the pictures on the website. I reached out to Linda prior to leaving. She was very responsive answered all my questions. Great memories made with the family this week. Would definitely come back again. The ease of getting in and out of old Orchard Beach was great. Was only a 3-4 min drive to the beach. The pool there was a huge hit with the grandkids as the ocean in Maine is never really that warm.

Beautiful home in the heart of old orchard!!! The space was peaceful and quiet! Super close to the beach while not too close to any noisy streets. The home itself is perfect for a little weekend getaway for two! Plenty of parking and easy to find even at night! Overall a great experience would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at 'Simple and Happy'. It was extremely clean and comfortable. There was nothing that we needed, everything was thought of and provided for. The decorations and ambiance was spectacular! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck overlooking the marsh and watching the birds. Stephanie was an excellent host!

The home is tastefully decorated and has an excellent shower and soft bed linens. It is a short walk to the beach and to Kennebunkport shops and restaurants, but the house is on a quiet street. Highly recommend!

The hosts were fast to respond and provided great recommendations. The cottage is quaint and cute, the location and view were unbeatable. The road is steps from the cottage, so expect to hear some traffic. I’m a light sleeper so that posed a bit of challenge for me (though not my husband and kids) - however there was a sound machine on sight to save the day (or should I say night). Enjoyed our stay!

A group of six of us stayed here for Thanksgiving weekend. This is a wonderfully preserved and cared for old home that was built in the 1700s. It's been modernized with a good kitchen, very nice stove, and updated bathrooms. There is a big room with a wood burning fireplace and a separate big room for TV watching. The house is spacious and comfortable. We were able to bring a turkey and supplies and the house had everything we needed to make a full Thanksgiving meal. The location is great. It's a short walk to town and Kennebunkport has great shopping, restaurants and things to see. There is also an access path to a walking trail right next to the house. Mike and Kate and their crew were very responsive to our questions and quite helpful as we looked for places to buy cooking ingredients, including a fresh turkey! We'd love to go back in summer months but this is a great cold-weather getaway too.

We felt so at home we didn’t want to leave! Exactly as pictured, comfortable beds, charming decor, easy to use tech, tons of games and tether all for the kids. Lindsay was so helpful and responsive. If we ever head back to Maine, this place is at the top of our list.

Truly a gem of a rental! The house is adorable and really brought the New England vibe we were hoping for in our visit to this coastal town. A well decorated, well stocked home that's within walking distance to historical Kennebunkport, restaurants, and other activities. Wish we stayed an extra night! Katie was also a gracious host, very responsive and helpful.

The house is very well located on the beach and allows admiring the sea from inside and on the patios. The beach is quiet and water very clean in front of the house. It was perfect for our family. We highly recommend.
